137 Chapter 137: We meet again f𝓇𝘦𝒆𝘄𝑒𝗯𝑛𝗼ѵ𝙚l.𝒄𝘰𝓶

Alex stood and gazed at his body in shock. His eyes were like that of a cat but thankfully he wasn’t furry. He couldn’t stop the flames burning around him and even his black hair was set ablaze making him worry that he may lose all his hair when he returns to normal.

“Funny enough this is no normal flame” Alex noticed.

“In my world, we call it rabid power... Damage dealt with an enemy never heals... if the target is not strong enough, the wound will fester, spreading until they die...” the Danite alien’s voice echoed in his head in response.

“But this also means if the enemy is strong enough they can forcefully stop the injury from festering” Alex said calmly.

“Yes” the voice answered.

“The strength of a familiar... can it grow?” Alex asked.

That was all that was bothering him. He always believed it would be bad if he got stronger and the cat still remains the same.

“A familiar has its base strength and then scales higher with the improvements its host makes.... When it was my familiar it was fairly powerful... but after I was badly hurt by your people I had no choice but to sever my connection with it, so its power dropped to its base strength” The Danite said calmly.

“Why would you sever your connection with your Familiar?” Alex was stunned.

“If the master dies then the familiar dies with it” the Danite didn’t hesitate to give Alex that piece of information.

Hearing this, Alex was stunned. This explains why the cat insists on flowing him everywhere.

“And if the familiar dies?” Alex asked with furrowed eyebrows.

“You get hurt but it’s not enough to kill you...” the Danite said calmly.

“The main strength of the Danite comes from their familars” The Danite added.

“If familiars exist in this world they should be the ones protesting for equal rights” Alex joked.

“You don’t believe in women’s rights?” the Danite asked with a hint of shock.

But Alex was the one who was more stunned. He didn’t think the Danite would look into things like this when he studied humans.

“I was bored and had a lot of free time so I did some research” The Danite said and Alex nodded in understanding.

“It’s not that I don’t believe, I simply find it unnecessary.... There is no such thing as equality in this world, no man is born of the same value... ” Alex said.

“That still doesn’t answer my question... you don’t believe in women’s rights?” the Danite asked with a serious tone. This made Alex wonder why he wanted to speak on this topic badly.

Is it because he is half Man half-woman?

“No, I don’t... Men are born with power and women are born with privileges... That’s what I know for sure... The majority of people who go to war are men... Men are the protectors in a family... Men have to make money to gain value... Meanwhile, a woman can be born with a pretty face and from a poor background. All she has to do is maintain her beauty, don’t be the best at anything, and wait for a man who has spent his entire life hustling to come and bend a knee begging her to feed off him for the rest of her life” Alex said with a little bit of annoyance in his face.

“Women do bear children here... doesn’t that count for something?” the Danite asked.

“So? Every service a woman can render can be bought... I can pay someone to have kids for me... I can pay someone to cook and clean but I cannot give you a hundred dollars and expect you to give me a thousand dollars in return... You have to create value to earn money and that’s what men do all their lives... The problem these days is that men do not know their value... If things were the way it’s meant to be if all men knew their value. Women would be the ones asking us out and providing because they live in a man’s world... they need us to survive no matter how much they say they don’t” Alex seemed more visibly annoyed each time he spoke about the topic.

“Yet you have a girlfriend” The Danite said with a strange tone.

“Tracy is an exception... She has a good background, she’s one of the greatest scientists in the country and as far as I am concerned she is providing value both to me and the society that’s why I treat her as equals... The dependency in the relationship is mutual since it’s 50-50 and that’s what you need to build a healthy relationship... it’s not the same with other relationships where the men are the ones on the losing side” Alex explained.

A sound drew Alex’s attention and he only turned to see, Silver standing there with a flashlight. He realized little beast was standing on his head and has undone the fusion process.

“If it were any other person, they would think you have gone crazy... Stop talking to yourself so seriously and come and rest... tomorrow will be really busy” Silver said and Alex nodded

The next morning, Alex retraced his steps back to the small wooden hut where he met the Danite but this time everyone came with him. They all believed that the secret entrance to the underground facility maybe somewhere around there and that’s why the serpent emerged.

The team got to the place but there was no wooden hut anymore but the lake was still there. Alex gazed around confused. This was like an open Greenfield so he failed to understand how they are meant to find an entrance here.

Little beast’s expression suddenly turned cold and only then did Alex get that feeling again!

The feeling of being watched.

His body felt cold but he clenched his fist and a cruel smile bloomed on his face. He had no intentions of letting this beast bully him like it did the last time.
