Chapter 150: Chapter 150: The butler Returns

" Okay I think we’ve heard enough." Mr Ladros stood up.

" No no, wait wait honey, lets hear the boy out, he might be right." His wife immediately shut him up.

Adrian explained that werewolves were biologically immortal, their strength and all the benefits of being one.

Unfortunately that wasn’t enough to convince them. They promised to discuss this later.

Annie’s parents weren’t idiot, they understood that Adrian’s enemies will come for Annie no matter what.

It didn’t matter if Annie separated herself from him, the fact that he cared about her was enough to use her against him.

If Annie left with him, they were the ones who would have to face the brunt of the vampire attacks.

Of course they still struggled to accept that vampires existed. In fact a part of them still thought their memories were fake.

The only reason they believed him to an extent is because him inserting memories into them was just as ridiculous as vampires being real.

Time passed, the next full moon was not far off now. Adrian was having dinner with Annie in a cafe.

Cyril suddenly showed up with some of his friends. He paused as soon as he saw Annie then started walking towards them.

" Annie, I’m glad you’re okay, I’ve been trying to contact you for the past week but your phone just sent me to voicemail.

Your parents said you were currently going through something so I got worried. Who’s this?"

He asked looking at Adrian, Annie stood up, " Can we talk outside." She led him out of the cafe.

His friends kept giving Adrian threatening looks but he ignored them. This seemed to piss them off.

" Listen here buddy, I don’t know who you are but Cyril is out boy, leave his girl alone and we’ll be cool."

Adrian smiled, " His girl huh? Did he tell you that? That they’re dating?" His question caught them off guard.

Cyril had never said that, they were the ones who just assumed. In fact Cyril only told them he liked her.

They just thought she liked him back because of how friendly she was towards him.

They looked out the window and saw the two of them talking. Cyril seemed to be getting agitated.

He was getting angry and Annie was explaining something. At some point Annie herself started getting angry.

The next thing they knew she was crying. Cyril just waved his hand, turned around and walked off.

Annie walked back inside still crying, Cyril’s friends walked off ignoring her. The friendliness they usually showed was gone now.

" You’re okay?" He asked, she nodded trying to stop herself from crying. " Perhaps we should go back."

He took her hand and they walked back home, they hadn’t gone far when Diego suddenly showed up.

He almost went on his knee but stopped himself. It was daytime and there were a lot of people around.

" Lord Adrian, I’ve found a group of suitable people, I explained everything to them and they agreed to join.

What are your next orders?" Adrian just raised ab eyebrow.

" You should report that to Suzie, she’ll know what to do with them." Diego nodded and left.

" One of your subordinates?" Annie asked and he nodded.

" There aren’t a lot of us but each one is a great person, you’ll like them." They continued.

Adrian spent this time with the Ladros family and they started opening up to him even more.

Unfortunately they were still reluctant to accept his offer, after all that would require them to leave everything behind.

That was until the night of that day, a thick black fog suddenly surrounded their house blocking out the view.

Adrian was the first to feel it, s powerful aura stood outside the house. He looked out the window and saw a man standing there.

It was same butler from before but this time he didn’t look like he was there to talk. The butler walked towards the house and knocked on the door.

Adrian got there before anybody else could and opened the door. " What do you want?"

The butler smiled softly, " Don’t play a fool boy, we’re here for you and the girl, invite us in."

Adrian suddenly used lunar realm and saw multiple other figures around the house but they were all level 3.

The issue was that they were carrying metals grenades, obviously to use to blow up the house.

’ Damnit, this is bad.’ he cursed under his breath. If he was alone he could’ve easily got out of this.

But now he needed to protect Annie and her entire family. ’ If only the others were here.’ he tried to use pack call.

It seemed to be blocked by the barrier they placed around the house. ’ Fine, I guess I’ll take of things myself.’

He couldn’t let the family stay inside the house whie he was out, that would be even more dangerous.

He grabbed them and tried to use his teleportation but it didn’t work. ’ This barrier, it’s much stronger than any I’ve seen.’

The barrier can even prevent teleportation. " Do not bother, there is no escaping, not for you."

The butler walked towards him while fixing his tie. Adrian stood in front of the entire family protectively.

They looked terrified and could barely see anything through the thick fog surrounding them.

Boom, " Ahhh." They screamed as the sound of an exploding cannon appeared right in front of them.

Adrian had just blocked a blood bullet and its power was quite impressive to say the least.

His hair and eyes turned silver, his nails turned into sharp claws and he grew wolf fang. 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚

This transformation took Annie by surprise but instead of being scared she found her breathing getting harder.

Her cheeks were flushed red and she bit her lips causing her mother to hit her on the back of her head.

Adrian wanted to go rip this butler vampire in front of him to shreds but he was terrified of leaving Annie’s side.

" Long range it is then." As a werewolf, he naturally preferred fighting in close combat but he was the primordial.

If Suzie can have long ranged attacks then he sure damn can as well.
