Adrian continued watching over Annie, he too had seen a glimpse of that man who disappeared immediately after.

’ A Leprechaun, what the hell would such a spirit want with Annie, this doesn’t look good.’

He jumped across buildings following the scent of the leprechaun but he lost the trail in some old warehouse.

He flew back to watch over Annie and this time he was watching closely. He didn’t want to miss anything.

Annie went school, he followed her for the whole day and would occasionally sabotage her time with Cyril.

He caused minor inconveniences just to be petty. Even so, their relationship was progressing faster than he would like.

Especially since he had to be there to watch everything now, it was pure torture. At night while she slept.

Suzie appeared next to him, " My lord, I have completed the task you gave me, we’re ready to move any time."

" Good, I’ll call the others, you will all leave tonight, make sure you’re not discovered, I’m not in the mood to fight anybody."

She nodded and left, he looked at Annie sleeping then flew away and followed Suzie to where the others were.

When they got there, most of the werewolves were yet to arrive so they were forced to wait.

Diego and Isabella were the first to arrive, their club which was their hideout was close to here.

Most werewolves were relatively unknown by the vampires, not many who had seen them lived to tell that tale.

That was a good thing, with their rings on, discovering them was even harder, the Gemma had it worse though.

They were relatively known due to Karon describing them to the others so they had to be more careful.

The werewolves arrived one by one, with the death of one of them, there were still 18 omega and 13 Gemma in total.

However after the recent battle, Adrian realised their numbers were too few, the pack was too small.

Unfortunately he couldn’t just turn anybody, he still had no intentions of changing his screening process.

That process has worked relatively well until now, the desperate people at the edge are more loyal when given a leeway.

Their lack of connection to the world meant their only family was the pack and that what’s he wanted.

He wanted the pack to feel like family, that way, the pack members would be closer and more loyal to each other.

He stood in the corner with Suzie and watched them talking to each other with a soft smile.

’ My lord is getting lighter.’ Suzie thought to herself. Before, Adrian was detached even to the pack.

Seeing him smile for something so simple was refreshing. After a few hours, they all arrived.

Melissa was the last to arrive, " You’re late, what happened?" Suzie asked and Melissa scratched the back of her head.

" I felt like I was being watched, I couldn’t just come here, I had to lose their trail, thanks to the ring I think I was able to."

Adrian raised his hand and stopped them, " Isabella and Diego will remain and take care of the club for now.

Diego and Isabella nodded, in all honesty they also didn’t want to leave, they loved the club.

" Suzie will lead the rest of you to our new base, oh and Suzie, remember to go check up on your sister.

I’m afraid they might’ve investigated us and if they did, she would be in danger, she might also miss you."

Suzie nodded calmly but he could see her hands were shaking. The thought of vampires going after her sister terrified her.

She distributed black coins to everybody. For the past two weeks she has been handling a specific task.

Adrian had given her the job to find a new base in the black market, property was very expensive there.

They couldn’t outright buy one with their current funds, after selling the fruits he had planted.

They had 10 elk fruits, 54 roots and 43 branch coins or 1054.43 elk roots coins, they could only rent a property.

They crushed their tickets and a single gate appeared. They all went through leaving Adrian alone.

Diego and Isabella were only there to learn the position of the base and the most optimal route to get there.

They had enemies there as well and needed to remain in hiding, not that they feared them but fighting them would draw attention of the vampires.

As soon as the gate disappeared he turned his head and looked at a roof nearly two kilometres away.

There stood two people, a woman and a man, as soon as their eyes met those two knew he had seen them.

" Shit, run!" The woman shouted then suddenly felt a hand on her shoulder.

" Running as soon as you see me, that’s hurtful, I thought we were friends." While his words sounded gentle, they were anything but.

The two agents felt their bodies shaking with fear. Both of them were at level 3 but something told them if they moved, they would die.

" A.. Adrian, the organisation is not your enemy, you don’t want to hurt us." The man tried to threaten him.

Adrian’s face turned cold, " Why does everybody think they can threaten me?" The two agents knew that question wasn’t for them.

" You are even more impressive than these brats said." They heard a voice behind. The two agents in his hands calmed down.

Adrian saw three women and two men behind them. Four of them were agents he knew.

Wolf, Vestro, Nancy and Bruce but he couldn’t recognise the woman who spoke, she appeared to be the leader.

She looked pretty with a long green Hanfu dress decorated with clouds and swans, her hair was tied into a ponytail with a jade pin.

Her smile seemed to light up the night sky but she couldn’t charm Adrian, his heart belonged to another.

’ Level 4, but why does she feel so weak? Something is strange with this woman.’ he decided to wait and see.

Back at Annie’s house.

As soon as Adrian left, the Leprechaun appeared next to Annie’s bed. He gently stroked her head.

Then he placed a golden coin on her forehead, the coin dissolved into light and flowed into her head.

Annie started shifting like she was having nightmares.
