Demon Slayer: Rise of The First Werewolf
Chapter 116: Amanda
This crystallization ability belonged to the director. He could not only create diamond like crystals but can even turn other matter into said crystal.
A high defence, high offense ability, yet it never even touched Suzie, the crystallization formed all around her.
Yet a circle of a metre around her was free and clear of any crystals. Nancy was also spared but her case was deliberate by the director.
" Is that your answer director?" Suzie asked, the director just sighed. Nancy ran towards him and whispered in his ear.
He looked up at Suzie, " Fine, you can take her."

Amanda felt somebody open her cage, she knew what was coming, she has been here for months being experimented on.
She didn’t understand what they wanted from her, yes she did become much stronger and felt healthier but she didn’t deserve this.
She had tried to resist at some point thinking her new found strength will allow her to break free.
How wrong she was, the guards here were unnaturally strong, they easily restrained her and sent her back to her cage.
Everyday since then they had been running experiments on her, some were simple and risk free but others were so painful she wished she could die.
She had gotten numb of everything and has finally accepted her fate, she didn’t know if this was a government facility or one belonging to some rich bastard.
But either way, she knew she would never get out of here, there was no way they would ever let her go which what she knew and experienced.
She only consoled herself by imagining herself ripping every guard and every scientist in this place to shreds.
She was dragged out of the cage and didn’t even resist, there was no point to it, they led her away from the lab.
Finally she panicked, this was different, she thought maybe they were finally going to kill her and she grew scared.
" Whe...where are you taking me?" She asked in a fearful voice, while she did wish to die multiple times in the past, when she thought she was really faced with death, she got terrified.
They took an elevator and went up, this facility was hundreds of metres underground so the trip up took a long time.
To her it felt like an eternity yet ended in a blink of an eye, her mind was occupied by thought of escaping. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦
When she got out she realised it was night time through the window. It had been months since she saw the sky.
They led her towards the door and there she saw a young woman in a maid uniform, Amanda did not even question the woman’s attire.
The guards threw her to the floor, she saw the maid’s eyes turn cold making the two guards back off warily.
’ Are they scared of her?’ she wondered but that made no sense, two muscular men being scared of a woman even smaller than her was strange indeed.
The maid turned her eyes towards her and Amanda flinched. She don’t know why but her body reacted on its own.
" Come, my lord is waiting for you." The maid spoke and turned around and walked off. Amanda picked herself up and walked after her.

Back in the director’s office, the director was glaring at Nancy and sighed. " I think you’re too scared of those wolves."
Nancy shrugged not even denying it, " Of course I am, they’re monsters." She replied without shame.
The director didn’t know if to laugh or not, " You’re an agent, it’s literally your job to deal with monsters."
Nancy looked at him and giggled, " Not when it means certain death, I’m not an idiot, I know my limits."
" I think you’re just a coward, you’re a Sapienta for Adam’s sake, act like it." He reprimanded her.
She raised her eyebrow like he had just said the dumbest thing ever. " What’s that got to do with anything?
One, I’m just a little girl, I’m allowed to be scared of monsters, two, being a Sapienta means nothing if you’re dead.
Even if my family sends people to assist, you know the limit in this city can only be level 2.
How many do you think would have to die to take down the wolf king? And let say somehow they’re able to avenge me, so what, I’d already be dead.
Director I’m a virgin, I can’t die a virgin, that would be really unfair." She started weeping and he sighed and rubbed his temples.
Dealing with this brat had always been annoying. " If you want to lose your virginity, go ask that wolf boy, I saw how you looked at him."
Nancy paused, " You really are crazy old man, while admittedly he’s sexy as a God and the only guy I think is worthy of my flower.
Anytime he looks at me all I see in his eyes is either disdain or apathy, waaaa." She cried jokingly.
" Just go, I’m busy!" He shouted and she ran out of his office. He smiled softly after she left.
Nancy reminded him of his own daughter, unfortunately that brat doesn’t even talk to her father anymore because she’s all grown.

Suzie created a spherical shield around her and the girl using her second ability. The sphere took to the sky.
Since she was now wearing her ring, those below are unlikely to notice her unless they’re very strong.
She was heading towards Adrian’s house when she changed direction and headed west of the city.
This territory belonged to the alliance of other races led by the orgres. She flew towards a nicer neighborhood.
She found Adrian floating in the air hundreds of metres above a certain house. " My lord, I’ve retrieved the woman."
" Mmm." Adrian nodded without even looking at her. His eyes were locked on what’s happening below.
That guy named Cyril just came out of Annie’s house and hugged her with a beaming smile.
Annie’s hug looked strained but that didn’t matter. Adrian could practically sense the desire oozing off this guy.
He felt a wave of killing intent in his heart then calmed down. " My lord, perhaps you shouldn’t hide anymore."
Suzie suggested, Adrian looked at her like she was crazy. She understood his reasoning so she continued.
" If my I may speak freely my lord, her life is already in danger, the vampires know and your affection for her cannot remain a secret for long.
Perhaps it’s time you stop denying yourself this, it’s also unfair on her for you to make the decision by yourself.
Let her decide if she wants this life or not. Besides, it would be easier to protect her if she’s up close."
