A red glowing beam shot at the jade seal but it wasn’t able to get near the jade seal before a lightning strike struck onto the red glowing beam.

The lightning strike overpowered the red glowing beam and it continued to the source of the red glowing beam.

"Kun!" Sima Bin shouted but he was helpless to do anything when he saw the lightning strike rip off the arm and parts of the body of Sima Kun.

"Argh." Sima Kun grunted and he narrowed his eyes at the jade seal.

Blood spurted out from his wounds while his body tried frantically to regenerate.

Tissues twitched when they grew together with the bones and veins.

Sima Kun panted and he knew that even if he had fully regenerated and healed his wounds, it wouldn’t be enough.

He had nothing on hand that would be able to take out the jade seal now that his brush Artifact was gone.

If Qian Ren got through the protection of the Formation Array, it would be a slaughter as there were many members of the Sima Family who were kids or mere mortals like Sima Long.

Worse, Qian Ren could disrupt the ascension to Nascent Soul Level for the three, and if he was able to do so, the chances of the Sima Family surviving would be a tiny sliver.

It grabbed onto Sima Kun’s leg but Sima Kun just ignored it.

He used the side of his palm and chopped onto his thigh, breaking his leg off from his body.

That allowed Sima Kun to continue his flight towards the jade seal.

And when he got close to the jade seal, a blinding light emitted out from his body.

An explosion that was half the size of the Sima Family mansion ensued.

The shock wave from it destroyed many of the houses around the Sima Family mansion and a torrent of winds blew across Hong Feng City.

A cloud of smoke in the shape of a mushroom rose into the air.

Sima Bin was knocked out of the sky and he landed onto the ground.

He let out a cough and spat out a mouthful of blood before he steadied himself back onto his feet.

Things were dire for him now, being so heavily outnumbered.

Thankfully, when he lifted his head, he saw that the jade seal was now nowhere to be seen.

Qian Ren was now alone, with his glowing counterpart gone.

He wasn’t looking as great as he was, with his hand held onto his chest with an expression of pain.

The three elders from the Six Pulse Sword Sect were popping pills into their mouths to recuperate from the damage they had sustained from the explosion.

"Bin, try to delay them. The Formation Array is still intact." Sima Hong’s voice sounded in the air and Sima Hong flew up into the air again.

Sima Bin took out a pill bottle, opened it and swallowed a pill from it.

In an instant, his Spirit Qi and wounds were healed.

Now was not the time to be stingy with whatever he had.

Sima Bin took a leap and flew back up into the air with Sima Hong to confront Qian Ren and the elders from Six Pulse Sword Sect.

In his mansion, Lin Xuan Qi frowned when he saw what Sima Kun did.

He had heard about cultivators going to the extremes for their clans and families before but it was something that shook him to witness it with his own eyes.

The battles between the sects and clans were much more volatile than he had thought.
