Chapter 448: Six Pulse Sword Sect Qian Ren

Elder Tan quickly flew away from Sima Hong while pointing his sword at him, "You made me do this, I tried to give you a chance to repent!"

"I don’t have time for all your nonsense." Sima Hong chased after Elder Tan and he reached into his shirt for something.

When he took his hand out from his shirt, it was holding a coil of rope.

He hurled the rope at Elder Tan and it uncoiled itself before it flew towards Elder Tan.

When Elder Tan turned around and saw the rope closing in on him, he thrust his sword at the rope but the pulse wave that shot out from his sword was easily dodged by the rope.

He knew that he had to do something fast before he got caught by the rope.

Out of nowhere, a figure appeared between Elder Tan and the rope.

"Sect master." Elder Tan shouted and the sect master of Six Pulse Sword Sect pointed his finger at the rope.

A glowing sword appeared from the tip of his finger and it shot at the rope.

Slice.

The glowing sword sliced the rope in half easily and it continued on its path towards Sima Hong.

Sima Hong let out a roar and quickly swung his metallic ruler at the glowing sword.

Dang!

A loud ring echoed in the air and Sima Hong could feel his arm and wrist go numb from the impact.

He had to muster all the strength he had to keep the metallic ruler in his hand.

"Not bad." The Six Pulse Sword Sect’s sect master, Qian Ren, said while rubbing the side of his nose.

He glanced at the other two elders who were still struggling with Sima Bin and Sima Kun and he shook his head.

"Let me handle them." His voice was heard by the elders and they quickly flew away to get behind him.

"Qian Ren, there is still time for you and your disciples to turn around.

"The Sima Family will let you do so.

"All the lives of the others in the city are our highest priority."

Sima Hong said and his voice boomed in the air, making sure that everyone in the city could hear what he had said.

Qian Ren burst out laughing and rubbed the side of his nose with a nonchalant expression.

"You still think I’m the same person as before?" He said and his dantian started glowing.

A glowing ball started to come out of it and it began to expand until it was as tall as Qian Ren before it morphed into a human form.

It materialized slowly into a glowing Qian Ren and it stared at Sima Hong.

Sima Hong frowned when he saw what happened and he glanced at Sima Bin and Sima Kun, who were now next to him.

"Nascent Soul?!" The three of them exclaimed in unison and they held the Artifacts in their hands tighter.

Sima Hong thought for a moment and said to the other two, "We will have to try our best to delay him, get back into the protection of the Formation Array if we need to.

"He still can’t get through it even if he is at Nascent Soul Level."

The other two nodded their heads but Qian Ren started to laugh.

"You think I would come here empty-handed without anything to get through the Formation Array of yours?"

Qian Ren took out a jade seal from his sleeve pocket and he hurled it into the air.

The jade seal started glowing and flickers of lightning could be heard from it.

Bam!

A lightning strike came down from the air, as if someone was going through his heavenly tribulations, and it struck at the blue glow of the Formation Array.

It was not the only one.

Another lightning strike followed and struck onto the blue glow.

Boom.

It was so fast that Sima Hong and the others couldn’t react.

The shock wave from the explosion when the lightning strikes hit onto the blue glow forced them to fly a distance away.

And when they stopped, they saw some hairline cracks on the blue glow.

Sima Hong knew that he had to stop the jade seal artifact before it got through the protection of the formation array.

"Bin, take care of Qian Ren with me, while Kun, you try to take care of the jade seal." Sima Hong said and they nodded their heads at him.

Without hesitation, they flew towards their allocated targets.

Sima Bin held up the eagle Artifact he had in his hand and he conjured a glowing eagle from it.

The glowing eagle flew towards Qian Ren immediately.

Sima Hong injected all his Spirit Qi into the metallic ruler in his hand and he swung it at the glowing Qian Ren.

However, Qian Ren seemed to be unfazed by them and he gave them a smirk.

He pointed his finger at the glowing eagle and the pulse wave he unleashed from his finger ripped the glowing eagle apart in an instant.

As for Sima Hong, the glowing Qian Ren took the blow from his metallic ruler and didn’t budge an inch.

It held onto the metallic ruler of Sima Hong and pulled it in.

The sudden tug caused Sima Hong to fly towards the glowing Qian Ren and Sima Hong tried to stop the momentum but couldn’t.

The sound of bones cracking could be heard when the glowing Qian Ren gave a punch at Sima Hong’s rib cage.

Sima Hong coughed out a mouthful of blood before he was flung into the distance and slowly descended down towards the ground.

"Hong!" Sima Bin and Sima Kun shouted when they saw what happened.

The gap between them, who were at Core Formation Level, and someone at Nascent Soul Level was too great for them to overcome.

But when they glanced at the mansion below them, they knew that they had to do whatever they could to stop Qian Ren.

Sima Bin used all of his Spirit Qi and a dozen glowing eagles came out from the eagle Artifact he had in his hand.

Sima Kun got close to the jade seal and he pointed his brush with red ink at it.
