... s I lumbered into the Verdant dawns camp, nearly bissected body slung over my shoulder and covered in blood. Many gazes turned to me, only a few stayed. Movement flowed all around me, headed in random directions as armored figures swarmed like ants. Uneasy gaps were left between the green liveries of the barons men and the many-coloured mercenaries of the Verdant Dawn. Tensions sickly sweet scent poked through the odour of blood that engulfed my form, in part due to my own wounds.
