The world is full of mysteries. Strange, seemingly unexplainable events occur more often than we may realize. A young boy may catch an illness no doctor can explain. An office may catch fire for no apparent reason. And perhaps, someone may die a sudden and unexpected death – their bodies blighted beyond recognition.

Memories shape who we are—they define us, anchoring us to our pasts. They are like videos, playing endlessly in our minds.But everything changed one day when people began to relive their memories. However, it wasn’t the pleasant ones that resurfaced. Instead, they were forced to experience their worst moments—or even memories that weren’t their own.Those who managed to survive this haunting experience found themselves watched by strange creatures, and in turn, were granted their powers.As if the world weren’t already thrown into chaos, these same bizarre monsters began to manifest on Earth, threatening humanity with the very real prospect of extinction.Amidst this upheaval, a small, seemingly insignificant beast was born. But it quickly rose to power, only to be betrayed and killed in a cruel twist of fate. Or so it seemed—because somehow, the beast found itself reborn in the body of a human.

Lu Yu, a foodie, transmigrated to a parallel world where all living beings on Earth had awakened to superpowers.

Fearsome Beasts rampaged everywhere and the lives of mankind were threatened.

When they came of age, youths would awaken their talents at the various martial arts dojos. They would then use their talents to protect their homeland.

Lu Yu awakened the power of Gluttony, an SSS-class talent.

His strength would increase every time he consumed the flesh of Fearsome Beasts. His spiritual soul would grow stronger every time he consumed their cores.

In other words, he was what he ate and he grew stronger by eating.

Apparently, the effect of Gluttony would even intensify when he consumed more high-end raw ingredients and better cooking methods.

As such, he embarked on the journey of becoming stronger through eating.

While the others wailed, “The monsters are here! Run!”,

the monsters howled, “Lu Yu is here! Run!”
