... cles tingled with protest. The sun was just beginning to rise and I had already been up for over two hours. My fingers were raw from scrubbing the floor and cleaning the bathrooms. I didn’t have time to dwell on how tired I was though. I needed to make sure I was downstairs and standing at attention in the kitchen in ten minutes.
I didn’t have much time according to my watch and I quickly wiped some sweat off of my brow before rushing down the steps of the expansive pack mansion.
