CEO's Reborn Wife
Chapter 586 - 594: What Measures
Looking at it, it seems these two items were taken out of the pocket and casually placed in the drawer.
Jane Sampson was familiar with the white small jar; it was exactly the same bottle of stomach medicine that Peter Gingery had given her.
So, James Black also went out of his way to get her stomach medicine? But upon seeing that Peter Gingery had prepared it, he didn’t give it to her?
Why was that?
If Peter Gingery had prepared it for her, why did he hide it away?
He could have told her that he had prepared stomach medicine for her too, just not as early as Peter Gingery had.
James Black sure is strange.
Jane Sampson sneakily put the medicine bottle back into the drawer; looking at James Black’s phone lying there, she felt an itch in her hand and couldn’t resist. She reached out and took James Black’s phone out again.
After unlocking it, Jane Sampson logged into WhatsAPP. She had logged into it on James Black’s phone before, and now several days had passed and James Black had not touched his own WhatsAPP, so, with one click, it automatically logged into her account.
As soon as Jane Sampson went online, she saw a message from Rock Bell, asking her to call her after seeing the messages.
Jane Sampson immediately logged out of WhatsAPP and then used James Black’s phone to call Rock Bell.
On the other end, Rock Bell picked up quickly, probably because she saw it was James Black’s number, so she thought it was James Black calling and hence greeted very formally.
"Sister Tin, it’s me," Jane Sampson laughed. "I just saw your message on WhatsAPP."
"Why are you calling me with James Black’s phone?" Rock Bell sighed in relief. "You scared me; I thought it was Chief Black inspecting your work situation."
"I’m now in James Black’s dormitory, our shooting location is in James Black’s guard team area, and every night he carries me to his dormitory," Jane Sampson complained. "Our mobile phones are taken away by the shooting team the moment we enter the guard area, and they said they won’t return them until filming is over."
Rock Bell focused on the word Jane Sampson used: every night.
She couldn’t help but feel agitated; wasn’t it like delivering meat to the nest to be slowly savored every day?
Jane Sampson going to the guard team to record a show was like delivering meat to the door.
"Let me warn you, don’t end up with a little Gary Black," Rock Bell advised. "Now is not the right time for you to have children."
Jane Sampson’s face turned red at Rock Bell’s words, "No, no, that won’t happen."
Jane Sampson’s voice was so soft it was almost like a mosquito’s.
James Black came out of the bath just in time to hear Jane Sampson say that last line. He didn’t realize she was on the phone and thought she was talking to him, so he asked, "What?"
"!!" The sudden voice from behind almost made Jane Sampson drop the phone in her hand to the ground level.
James Black glanced at Jane Sampson, who looked frightful and guilty, and only then noticed she was making a call with his phone, so he took her guilt as her having messed with his phone.
"Who are you talking to?" James Black asked casually.
"Sister Tin," Jane Sampson replied with a dry voice.
James Black hummed in acknowledgment and then took the hairdryer to the living room, closing the bedroom door behind him as a rare gesture of consideration to not disturb her.
On the phone, Rock Bell listened to the change in Jane Sampson’s breathing and couldn’t help but laugh, teasing her, "You’ve been married for so many years now, and you’re still so afraid of him?"
