CEO's Reborn Wife
Chapter 542 - 550: Are You Stupid?
She was so sound asleep that when he moved her body to the other side, she didn’t wake up.
James Black’s bed in the guard team’s dormitory wasn’t as big as the one at home. When he bought the bed, he never thought that one day Jane Sampson would come to the guard team, so he only got one that was slightly larger than a single bed.
After James Black lay down, the bed seemed even smaller. He turned on the air conditioner and then held the sweet and soundly sleeping Jane Sampson in his arms.
At the time of their marriage, he hadn’t thought about having her follow the team, nor had she mentioned it.
Back then, James Black thought Jane was very sensible and made things easy for him.
Now, James thought he should have let her join the team right after they got married. At that time, she was still pretending to be a good girl and would probably have agreed.
Ending a day’s work and coming home to a young wife to tease, holding a young wife to sleep at night—it would have been better than spending nights alone in a cold, empty dormitory.
That night, Jane had the deepest sleep she’d had in over half a year; she didn’t even dream.
Her biological clock, developed over a month of filming, woke Jane up a little over five o’clock. Upon opening her eyes, she found a man’s chest before her and was momentarily stunned.
Raising her head to glance at the chest’s owner, she sighed with relief.
Phew—it was James Black.
Only then did Jane remember that last night she had made James give her a massage before falling asleep without realizing when.
She wondered if Mair Williams and the others knew she hadn’t come home all night.
But, what was done was done; worrying now was pointless.
Content, Jane yawned heartily, shifted her body, and then suddenly felt something poking against her lower abdomen.
She lifted the quilt for a look.
!!!
Beast!
Old rascal!
Even in sleep, not decent!
Worried that if James were to wake up maintaining that state, she would become his breakfast, Jane carefully, ever so carefully, reached her hand over.
And then—pressed down.
"Go back, go back," Jane murmured as her hand pressed against the area on James’s pants, with no other intention than to push young Gary Black back down.
"Jane Sampson."
A sudden husky voice from above made Jane jump, and she looked up at James with a face full of shock.
"Are you foolish?" James asked.
Jane, with a restrained face, shook her head, "I’m not foolish."
Then she gradually withdrew her hand from the indescribable place and retaliated, "It’s foolish."
That "it" naturally referred to the certain something that she hadn’t managed to suppress back into a dormant state.
"If you broke it, you’d be the one crying," James flicked her forehead with his hand.
"If I really broke it, I probably wouldn’t cry," Jane’s response was utterly serious, "I’d probably laugh."
Seeing James shoot her a look, Jane swiftly got down from the other side of the bed and ran into the bathroom like escaping, slamming the door shut behind her.
James lay there, not moving, took several deep breaths to calm the stirring thoughts, then got out of bed. He knocked on the bathroom door and said, "There are clean toothbrushes and towels in the cabinet."
"Oh," replied Jane, who was sitting on the toilet, resting her head in her hands, and then suddenly looked at her hand in front of her eyes.
Left hand? 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦
Or right hand?
Chop it off! Chop it off!
Am I foolish? Did I really just say I was foolish?
One shouldn’t mess with a man early in the morning! And she foolishly thought she could press it down!
That one second—was her brain waterlogged?
It must have been because she had just woken up. Her body was awake, but her intelligence was still asleep!
It must be that!
