Jane Sampson felt that the reason James Black was so eager to bring her to the guard team was that he had taken a marriage certificate there, but no one believed him.

So, James Black wanted to bring the woman on the marriage certificate to show off a bit.

Thankfully, she discovered his plan in time!

"Come here," James Black said with a non-friendly tone, gesturing for Jane Sampson to come closer as he took a step back after each word, and seeing her bristle with a battle-ready stance, James Black couldn’t help but laugh.

"Come over and give me a kiss, and I won’t take you to the guard team," he said.

Jane Sampson blinked and smiled at James Black, "Not very credible."

"Do you think you could escape if I were determined to take you to the guard team?" James Black raised an eyebrow, "Come and kiss me voluntarily, and I won’t take you to the guard team. But if I have to get out and grab you, I can’t guarantee whether I’ll take you home or to the guard team."

As Jane Sampson hesitated, she saw James Black opening the car door to get out, so she quickly called out, "Wait! Wait! I’m coming over!"

Fearing that James Black would come after her if she were just one second late, Jane Sampson dashed over and hugged James Black’s waist through the already opened car door, then puckered up and planted a kiss on his face.

After kissing him, seeing no change in his expression, she thought for a moment and then kissed him on the lips.

Then she asked in a soft voice, "Is that okay now?"

"Mm," James Black chuckled as he tousled Jane Sampson’s hair on top of her head, making it all messy before getting out of the car and handing her the mask, hood, and glasses that she had left in the rear seat, and then helped her take the suitcase from the rear compartment.

"I have to return to the guard team overnight, so I’m not coming in. You go on in," James Black said as he pushed the suitcase towards Jane Sampson.

"Oh, okay. Drive safely on your way back," Jane Sampson still felt an unreal sensation.

So, what’s with this guy and his odd quirks?

Chasing her for more than an hour’s car trip just to catch up and get a kiss?

Watching James Black drive away, Jane Sampson stood at the community entrance feeling utterly confused.

Shocked, she watched James Black’s car disappear before she pulled her suitcase and swiped her access card to enter the residential community.

By the time Jane Sampson got home and had taken a shower, it was already 11 o’clock. Since she had to get up early tomorrow, she lay in bed, set her alarm clock, and rested.

When James Black returned to the guard team, it was almost 12 o’clock. After reaching his dormitory, he sent a WhatsApp to Jane Sampson to say he’d arrived, waited a few minutes without getting a reply, guessed she was already resting, and then went to take a bath.

Peter Gingery had been out for tasks for a long time, but this time, upon returning to the guard team, he noticed that the comrades in the guard team seemed even more approachable and friendly.

As soon as he returned to the guard team, his adorable comrades brought him a pile of delicious food to greet him.

"Peter Gingery, we’ve been looking forward to your return. You’ve been out for a week, haven’t you? You seem to have gotten much tanner. Poor guy," said Warrior A.

"It’s fine for a man to be a bit darker. When you have no shame, even blushing won’t show," added Warrior B.

"Watch your mouth! Who’s shameless?" Peter Gingery slapped Warrior B on the shoulder and then stepped back a few paces, looking at everyone, "You guys are unnaturally enthusiastic! My experience tells me there’s a catch ahead!"
