After Director Wilson finished speaking, he turned to explain to Jane Sampton. He said, "These are reporters from the city and county town, here to interview our film crew. Mandy Forest and Shirley Young can’t spare the time right now, so you and Harry Humming need to go and handle this interview."

Seeing Jane utter a sound of acknowledgment, Director Wilson thought for a moment and then added another instruction, "Don’t let the interview take too long, ten minutes. After the interview is over, come back to filming. The film crew’s schedule is planned out daily, and we can’t afford any delays."

"Okay," Jane Sampson quickly nodded in agreement.

Director Wilson, seeing how readily Jane agreed, wondered if the girl had failed to grasp the other implications in his words.

"By the way, Miss Sampton, this bag of fruits is for you." Jane Sampton didn’t bother with pleasantries, just handed over the fruits.

"I hear someone sent you a truckload of fruits, not bad at all. For tonight’s roasted sweet potato party, we can add a fruit eating segment," Director Wilson said cheerily as he reached out and accepted the bag. Then he called Harry Humming over and, out of sight of the reporters, gave them a meaningful look before taking the fruits and walking away with the air of a busy man. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮

If one didn’t know the situation here, they might actually take Director Wilson’s words at face value.

While it’s true that the film crew’s daily tasks are planned out, it wouldn’t be so strict as to not be able to spare even half an hour.

When Director Wilson mentioned ten minutes, it was merely his way of having Jane Sampton and Harry Humming give a cursory interview to satisfy the local reporters.

Reporters from the city and the county are not from mainstream media. Artists like Mandy Forest and Shirley Young naturally would not accept interviews from such media.

However, since the film crew is shooting in this location, it wouldn’t be right not to give some face to the local area, so asking Jane Sampton and Harry Humming to do the interview was a fairly standard arrangement.

When the reporters heard they only had ten minutes, they immediately became anxious, and facing stars, they seemed somewhat restrained at first. Even when asking a question, they were quite cautious.

"You must have prepared an interview draft before coming here; don’t be nervous. Just follow your draft, and if we go a little over the time, that’s okay too," Jane Sampton, seeing the young reporters sitting nervously beside her and Harry Humming unsure of where to put their hands and feet, spoke up to reassure them.

"Really?" asked one of the slightly plumper girls, eagerly thanking her. "Miss Sampton, you are so kind!"

"Now, just treat Harry and me like you would any of your usual interview subjects," said Harry Humming, aware that local reporters here probably don’t get to meet stars often. Being young and having their first time conducting such interviews, it was understandable for them to be nervous.

"We were quite worried that stars would be difficult to deal with, but we didn’t expect Miss Sampton and Mister Harry to be so approachable. Just for that, once I get back, I’m going to become a fan of you two!" said another girl, smiling shyly and then proceeding to start the interview with the draft she had prepared beforehand.

Though the interviews were simple, ten minutes was not quite enough, but they didn’t take too long either. In less than half an hour, the interview was concluded, and at the end, Jane Sampton and Harry Humming took photos with the reporter’s mobile phones, leaving the youngsters overjoyed and hopping excitedly as they left.
