"You didn’t stay up late last night, did you?" Coco Edwards anxiously surrounded Jane Sampson as soon as she saw her. "It’s your first appearance after a period of silence today. You must look amazing and stun everyone!"

"No~no~no~" Jane Sampson instinctively shook her head repeatedly.

She just looked in the mirror. She’s been resting well recently and even though she slept late last night, there’s no sign of staying up late on her face. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶

"Good for you to listen." Coco Edwards finally let Jane Sampson off the hook, then addressed the two stupefied makeup artists, "You two can start doing her makeup here."

For confidentiality reasons, Jane Sampson’s makeup sessions were all arranged at the Black Residence.

The makeup artists finally reacted, nodding repeatedly.

"We’re really surprised! It’s so great to see little Jane doing well, we’re truly happy." One of them beamed with great joy, introducing the person next to her, "This is my assistant. Both my assistant and I really like little Jane, we were both so delighted just now upon seeing you."

Jane Sampson was already seated, beginning her makeup session, when James Black leisurely descended from upstairs in his home clothes.

He was clutching Jane Sampson’s mobile phone in his hand, walking slowly to her side to hand it over, "Sister Bell called you just now. I answered it. She said once we’re done here, the film crew’s official twitter will also post a message, reminding you to reply on twitter afterwards."

"Alright." Jane Sampson took the mobile phone. James Black didn’t walk away and further asked if she had eaten breakfast.

Seeing Jane Sampson shake her head, James Black headed straight to the kitchen.

Two minutes later, he emerged from the kitchen, carrying a bowl of tremella soup.

"Eat first, then continue." James Black’s tone didn’t leave any room for negotiation.

After a moment’s thought, he asked Coco Edwards and the other two, "Aunt’s tremella soup tastes good, want to try it too?

Coco Edwards immediately picked up on James Black’s implied meaning.

"Of course, let’s eat!" Coco Edwards nodded, turning to Aunt and saying, "Aunt, is there more in the kitchen? We want to try as well! Tremella soup is perfect for beauty and skincare, ideal for a girl’s breakfast and snack."

James Black was insisting on offering tremella soup, presenting the bowl right in front of Jane Sampson. She had to comply and say she wanted it, ensuring Jane had time for breakfast as James Black wished.

What could they do? Her caring husband wanted to be considerate to his wife, and the single dogs couldn’t possibly stop him.

Watching Coco Edwards pull the two makeup artists towards the dining hall, James Black smiled contently, then lowered his head and told Jane Sampson, "Later, have Sister Bell award a bonus to Coco Edwards."

The two makeup artists were led away by Coco Edwards, looking bewildered, still holding onto the makeup remover cotton without having put it down yet.

"Is he the legendary Investor Black?" the makeup artist’s assistant asked Coco Edwards in a low voice.

"Yes, Jane Sampson’s husband." Coco Edwards nodded, not intending to discuss James Black any further with them, she shifted the topic to Aunt’s tremella soup, "Try it, I had it once last time, it tastes great and is not overwhelming at all."

In the living room, Jane Sampson spooned the tremella soup into her mouth one bite at a time, too lazy to even roll her eyes at James Black.

If he wasn’t doing it on purpose, then she’d write her name, Jane Sampson, backwards.

"Eat slowly, chew thoroughly, I don’t have to watch over you, do I?" Watching Jane Sampson eat hurriedly, James Black couldn’t resist commenting, "No need to rush these five minutes."

"Oh," Jane Sampson replied, slowing her pace as instructed.
