The call came from an unfamiliar number, and James answered, saying hello.

"Hello, are you Jane Sampson’s husband, Mr. James Black?" The caller sounded like a teenage boy.

If you agree, I’ll release the video now." The lawyer finished speaking and quietly waited for James’ response.

James was quite surprised. He understood from the lawyer’s words that the video would only benefit Jane Sampson, with no downsides.

"I agree," James slowly responded, "Release it now."

He didn’t even ask about the video’s specific content, as he trusted Granny Sampton’s love for Jane was genuine.
