After she spoke, Jillian slammed the door and then stood inside the bedroom, crying and throwing a tantrum, ignoring how her mother knocked on the door from the outside, as she had no intention of opening it again.

Jillian cried and fumed alone in her bedroom for a long time. Thinking about her father’s temper, she sat there upset.
