Selina slashed through the dark thorns and walked out. Telara was already standing there, waiting for her.

Telara wore a glimmering dress that looked like the milky way. Her hair gently flowed in the wind. There was something godly about her. A trait that a mortal shouldn’t have.

She was very beautiful. A Fey beauty that even made Selina feel at awe. Selina understood why Mater was once her lover. If she was a man, she would also hit that for sure.

"You must be Telara." Selina said.

"Oh? How did you know?" Telara smiled.

"The looks. The dress. And of course, the arrogant." Selina said.

Suddenly, a moon appeared behind Telara’s head. Her halo put a pressure onto the air around Selina. It weighed heavily on her.

But Selina didn’t drop down. She stayed firm.

"You’re one tough girl..." Telara licked her lips. "Why follow him? Join me. He’s only interested in your body. Once he has it, he would get rid of you."

Mater shot down from the sky and landed beside Selina. He located her through their Chaos Pact.

"The white knight is so eager to protect his damsel." Telara sighed. "I didn’t do anything."

"I would have believed you if I didn’t know you. Did she convince you to leave me or something?" Mater said.

"That’s exactly what she’s doing." Selina nodded.

Mater combed his hair back arrogantly. "I know. I am a man of desire after all."

Telara rolled her eyes. "I will be in the Court. Gather your soldiers there."

The Fae disappeared without a trace.

Selina took the Abyssal Helmet off her and looked over to Mater.

"So this is what you actually look like?" Selina said. She couldn’t help but glance at his muscular abdomens a few time.

"Like it, baby?" The dark-haired man was as shameless as ever.

Selina let out a hiccup then turned around. "Stop being so humiliating."

"What? You don’t like it?"

Selina kept avoiding his gaze and didn’t answer.

Mater picked her up.

"What are you doing?! We need to go!" Selina became even more panicked.

"Someone said I couldn’t do shit, remember?"

"I was just joking..." Selina’s voice was as low as bee noise.

"Yeah. Yeah. Let me show you. I’ve been waiting for this an entire year."

"Wait! No!"

Selina resisted halfheartedly as Mater carried her into a beautiful lustful grass field with the beautiful starry sky above them.

"Can’t we find a room? Please! Get us a room!"

"Why? Don’t you think this is a beautiful place?"

"But! But! It’s embarrassing!"

Mater caressed her cheeks and touched her soft lips. "Do you know how much I imagined what I’m going to do to you, my owner?"

"I’m not... I was never your owner." Selina hid her face.

"But as a cat, you are."

Mater kissed her. He hugged her tightly and let her feel his overwhelming warm. She was bathed in his breathless love.

But the dark-haired man stopped.

"What?! Why are you stopping?" Selina breathed heavily.

"I thought you weren’t ready?"

"Damn you!" Selina hit the dark-haired man lovingly.

"Listen. I know what Telara must have said to you. And I know you have your doubts. But don’t ever doubt that you are not my queen."

Mater lifted her up. "I’m not just here for your body. So I’m not rushed. Let’s keep our first time for a real special occasion. How about that?"

Selina nodded.

Telara popped her head out in frustration, "Aw, come on! I was waiting for some action!"

Back at the gathering place. The servants had collected everyone that was transported here.

The situation was slowly getting out of control.

"I want to go home!"

"Please don’t take my kidneys!"

Mater and Selina stood on an elevating rock overlooking everyone.

"Should I?" Selina said.

Mater nodded, "They’re here for you after all."

The participants didn’t know Mater. They were only interviewed by Selina. They knew her.

Selina put on the Abyssal Helmet and transformed back into the Dark Knight.

"Attention!" She shouted. Her voice was carried by Chaos to the ears of everyone in the area.

"I am Selina Isles! The Dark Knight and also the one that has invited you here."

"Selina?!"

"Tell us what is going on?"

"Why are you doing this?"

"The Hymn of the Battlefield is real!" Her words silenced the crowd. "You are called here to assist Queen Telara of the Moon Court. This is the Everlasting Wilds, the world of the Fae."

"The Hymn is real?"

"Fae? Like Elf or something?"

"I don’t want to die!"

"Before you decide on what you’re going to do, I want to ask you one thing." Selina said. "Why did you attend the Hymn of the Battlefield?"

"For the money, of course!"

"I just want to show off my pretty cosplay!"

"It’s just a roleplay event for me!"

"You all have your reasons for coming here. It isn’t fake anymore. You will fight for the Legendary Fae Queen. There will be pain. There will be loss. And it will be long. But I can guarantee one thing. You will return to your world at the same day you have left. You won’t die. Even if you do, you will be perfectly healthy once the event is ended.

Think of it like a total immersive LARPing event."
