Yandere Monster Evolution: My Blind Wife Will Become a Demonic Queen
Chapter 43: Dress Up...
After reaching the villa, I told Viora to stand outside for a moment while I went inside to check if Elena was home or not.
I checked every possible place where she could be, but I couldn’t find her, so it is safe to say she isn’t home yet.
After that, I brought Viora inside and took her upstairs where my room was. There was another empty room beside mine.
I opened the door to that room and led her to sit on the bed. This will be her room from now on.
We just need to make sure Elena doesn’t find out about her, then everything will be alright.
I looked at Viora. She was still wearing the hospital clothes and the towel on her head.
I am surprised that the ice cream vendor or the flower shop vendor didn’t mention anything about it.
"Viora, do you want to change your clothes?"
I asked while running my gaze around the room.
"You are still in your hospital clothes. It would be best if you change them."
"Alright,"
Viora nodded, and I walked toward the wardrobe placed inside the room. I hoped there would be some of women’s clothes inside.
And I was right, except for the fact that some of them were men’s clothes and the women’s dresses were too revealing. Still, I began to examine every single one to find the most suitable for Viora.
Something that isn’t too revealing and is comfortable to wear.
"Oh," 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺
As soon as I checked all the dresses and reached the final one, it caught my eye.
Elena had a strange habit.
Whenever she traveled to other countries for work meetings or went out to clear Gates in different regions, she always came back with something.
It was almost like she collected things simply because she could.
That explained why the wardrobe was filled with all kinds of outfits from different places and styles.
At the very back of the wardrobe, tucked beneath several dresses, was a folded outfit unlike the others.
A soft long kameez with delicate embroidery, matching loose trousers, and a light dupatta.
Compared to the other dresses, this one looked far more comfortable and dignified.
’This should work.’
I pulled it out of the wardrobe and walked toward Viora.
"I found something. I think it will fit you."
Saying that, I placed the clothes into her hands, and she curiously began to feel the texture of the fabric.
"This doesn’t feel like ordinary clothes," she stated. "They seem like something worn on big occasions."
"Yeah. My aunt probably bought it from one of her weird shopping sprees. These clothes must be Pakistani or Indian."
I scratched my cheek, and an awkward smile was visible on the corner of my lips.
"Go ahead and change. I will wait outside."
Saying that, I turned around and immediately started walking toward the door. But before I could leave, Viora called me.
"Woo Jin."
My hand froze on the doorknob, and my body stiffened.
’No way. She isn’t going to tell me to...’
"...Yeah?" I muttered, and looked back at her.
She is going to ask. I have to turn her down before she can finish her sentence.
Before she spoke up, there was a small pause, and then Viora spoke in the calmest voice possible, "Don’t you—"
"No! I am not going to help you wear it!"
"What?"
She looked confused hearing my words. Was that not what she was going to ask me? To help her wear it because she can’t see?
That was a very valid point. However, it seems like I was wrong.
"No. I was going to say don’t try to peek thinking that I won’t notice," she continued. "But if you want, you can help me."
Now, I feel so embarrassed that I don’t want to stay here any longer.
I immediately opened the door wider and stepped halfway outside.
"I am absolutely not helping you wear clothes."
"Hehehe," before closing the door, I heard her soft laughter.
Wait.
Was she messing with me?
"You did that on purpose, didn’t you?"
"No." She answered way too quickly.
I narrowed my eyes at her.
"Just wear it yourself."
I quickly shut the door behind me. Then leaned my forehead against it and let out a long sigh.
Why is this girl becoming more dangerous by the hour? If she keeps getting more and more intense, I don’t know if it will be a good or bad thing for me.
As I was waiting patiently, Viora’s voice came again from inside.
"Woo Jin."
"What now?!" I asked as my brows furrowed.
"...Which side is the front?"
I covered my face with one hand.
’This is going to be a long day.’
.....
After half an hour of struggle, she was finally able to finish wearing her clothes.
"Okay, I am done."
The moment I heard her voice, I opened the door and stepped back inside.
And then I froze. For a second, I genuinely forgot what I was supposed to say.
Viora was standing in the middle of the room. The long kameez fit her surprisingly well, the soft fabric falling neatly around her frame.
The light embroidery along the sleeves and collar gave it a refined look, while the loose trousers made her look far more comfortable than before.
Like always, her purple hair rested messily around her shoulders, and because the towel was gone, her curved red horns were now completely visible.
Somehow, instead of ruining the outfit, they made her look even more unique.
"...Wow."
The word slipped out before I could stop it. Viora tilted her head slightly.
"Is that a good wow or a bad wow?"
Her fingers nervously fidgeted with the edge of her sleeve. Looks like despite asking confidently, she was still worried.
I walked closer to her and noticed the dupatta lying abandoned on the bed. Of course. She had no idea what to do with it.
Suppressing a smile, I picked it up and gently placed it over her shoulders.
"There."
The soft pink fabric draped neatly over her outfit, instantly completed the whole look.
"No," I muttered while stepping back to look at her properly. "This is definitely a good wow."
A small smile slowly formed on Viora’s lips. "Really?"
I was going to say, ’Yeah, you look great,’ but before I could, I heard someone else’s voice coming from behind me.
"So, this is the friend you told me you were meeting?"
This voice...?!
I immediately turned toward the door and saw someone standing there with her arms crossed.
"Elena?!"
