Gerhard was at a loss, pulling out his most powerful magic scroll from the bottom of the chest and tossing it over. Yet the small scroll was immediately redirected by gravity, slamming into the ceiling instead.

The collapsing ceiling sent down countless rubble, and some knights, unfortunately, got hit on the head, falling unconscious on the spot.

The remaining knights charged forward to surround the Fallen Star Creature, but to no avail, as the creature barreled through them like a raging bull in a nursing home.

Unstoppable!

The initial battle of the Fallen Star beasts took place in Yilushier of the Cold Valley, clutching Eliphas and duking it out against the Light Eagle Group’s captains and a posse of elite mercenaries.

It’s known that the Light Eagle Group repeatedly achieved miraculous victories against the Warrior Country’s army at the border. The captains’ strength is at least equal to some commanders, while the elite mercenaries surpass ordinary soldiers, and Gerhard’s knights are stronger than regular soldiers yet up to the level of commanders.

Therefore, the battle currently unfolding in the Celia Crystal Tunnel is predictably one-sided with no surprise.

As regular monsters during the Meteor Shower period, the Fallen Star Beasts have left a deep impression on many adventurers.

Gerhard had never seen one in person before, but he had heard of its reputation. Now, seeing the similar-looking Fallen Star Creature, he was profoundly shaken.

With all the knights dead, the Fallen Star Creature stomped thunderously towards Gerhard. As Gerhard turned to flee, he slammed into the Fog Gate and fell backward.

The next second, his corpulent body was flung high into the air by the Fallen Star Creature, ready to execute the same juggling technique to finish him off.

"Ah! Ah!"

Gerhard screamed incessantly, feeling the world spin around him, akin to becoming an astronaut.

His consciousness grew increasingly fuzzy until just before everything slipped into darkness, he suddenly noticed something he had overlooked beside the Fog Gate.

It was a small broken statue, resembling a woman, somewhat like the goddess statue seen in the Prince’s Chapel.

For some reason, upon seeing this statue, an ominous premonition rose in his heart.

But before he could completely unravel the underlying cause of this unease, his life ended with a monstrous overhead throw from the Fallen Star Creature.

Suddenly, Gerhard woke up. More precisely, his consciousness was clear, but he could not feel the presence of his body.

Strange, normally, wouldn’t they revive in that small wooden hut after dying?

He had planned it all out. Since neither he nor the knights could defeat the Fallen Star Creature alone, he wouldn’t come back this way after dying and returning to the wooden hut. Exploring other paths or leaving the Celia Crystal Tunnel would be better choices.

At that moment, something appeared before him. A closer look revealed it was the same small broken statue he had seen earlier.

As he looked at the statue, a line of text appeared before his eyes.

[Resurrect at Marika’s Wedge Stone]

There were no other options, only this one choice.

In the game, Marika’s Wedge Stone is a special structure that allows the Faded to resurrect nearby, known as Miyazaki Hidekou’s mercy, because places it appears often have a BOSS or dangerous maps.

Initially, Gong Qiying placed a few in this new area, quite haphazardly, and not many compared to the game.
