Unexpectedly, Vicma's bedroom was very simple, with only a plain bed made of ordinary mattresses, a woolen quilt, a worn-out wardrobe, and very few personal items. It seemed the Archbishop lived a very simple life.

On the table was a cup of cold coffee, half-eaten black bread, and an order. Archbishop Vicma seemed to intend to summon a combat priest named Luther Hus to the headquarters for orders.

"The most powerful Justice Archbishop in the empire, living so simply," Laine whispered in amazement. "Yet many nobles and his political opponents spread rumors that Archbishop Vicma had already submitted to Chaos, but the Archbishop never bothers to explain."

"High Elves are the same; many lords are jealous of my brother Terion's position and constantly try to spread slander about him. If not for Finuba's constant trust in us, there would probably have been conflict." Passing through the bedroom, Laine and Tygris finally reached their intended destination.

It was the storage room filled with countless rare treasures.

"Got it!" Tygris's eyes finally lit up.

Laine looked closely.

It was a stone pedestal with a sword embedded in it. The hilt was made of purple and white, with a red fire dragon as the crossguard. The dragon was carved vividly, and a necklace was hung on the hilt, set with a fragment of a platinum gem shining with dazzling divine light, a gem beloved by High Elves.

"This is Calado's Sword, the sword of Calado II who died in the Old World, unexpectedly here," Tygris quietly noted. "No protective divine art, just take it directly."

"This is it, the first fragment of Lilith's Crown, we've got it." A smile bloomed on Laine's face. After hesitating, he reached out directly, removing the platinum gem and placing it in his palm.

He felt the power of the Lake Fairy flowing back and forth on the necklace, resonating with the "Heart of Lilith" around his neck.

"Lilith gave this to you too? Do you know what this means?" Tygris gazed at the Heart of Lilith on Laine's neck.

"What does it mean?" Laine knew the Heart of Lilith was extremely precious, likely a token of affection from the Lake Fairy.

"Ailarielle gave the Heart of Avalon to Terion..."

"Yes, I understand," Laine nodded and said no more. He picked up the necklace, thought for a moment, and signaled Tygris to take it.

"Very good, smoother than expected. I thought we'd have to go deep underground to face numerous Gatekeepers to see this fragment. Then, we'd have to defeat a strong Ancient Guardian," Laine handed the first fragment of Lilith's Crown to Tygris, smiling.

"That's something out of a third-rate knight's novel..." Tygris frowned. "We can't get out now; let's see other collections."

"Alright."

On the next pedestal was a rusty long halberd, full of filth and Chaos corruption. Hanging on it was a human head and the entire skeleton, with green light emitting from the hollow eyes. This weapon was reinforced and sealed with many holy scriptures and seals.

"It's a weapon of the Champion of Nurgle," Laine pointed at a '品' shaped symbol on the halberd. "That's Nurgle's mark."

"This is the weapon 'Morning Star' of the Harvester Valnir," Tygris frowned. "The Harvester Valnir is a Champion of Nurgle, defeated in the Great Holy War. But due to Nurgle's blessing, the barbarian chief who should have died was reborn after paying the price of full-body decay and escaped the battle. We only seized his weapon... didn't expect it here."

"Can't destroy it?"

"No, that's Nurgle's blessing; it can only be sealed, not destroyed," Tygris shook his head.

"Then it's done now."

Laine placed the cursed weapon on the ground.

Mjolnir fell heavily: "Thud!" π˜§π‘Ÿπ‘’π‘’π˜Έπ˜¦π˜£π‘›π‘œπ˜·π‘’π“.π˜€π˜°π“‚

The halberd broke and Nurgle's blessing, left on it, was completely shattered by Laine's spiritual energy. Without Nurgle's blessing, the weapon quickly turned to dust before Laine and Tygris.

In Subspace, Nurgle's garden.

"Ah!!!" Nurgle, focusing on brewing soup in his cauldron, suddenly felt a pain in his buttocks. The chubby grandpa cried out and tried to reach to scratch, only to find he couldn't reach it.

"So annoying, what, what the hell, must, must be Tzeentch's conspiracy," Nurgle roared, unable to find the source. Mumbling, he continued to stew: "Fine, let me continue."

......

Laine and Tygris then saw several magic artifacts, some seized from the Great Holy War and Vampire War and others from the Empire provinces' collections or gifts from Dwarves. But undoubtedly, many were exceptionally precious and extremely dangerous.

"Blue Love," Laine arrived before a counter with a pair of blue rune hand cannons inside, featuring a double-barrel design, engraved with the emblem of the Lania vampire family.

This was a relic of a Lania family Vampire.

"...Rune fire cannon, reinforced with magic by a Vampire and transformed," Tygris observed the weapons, knowing Laine had an idea: "Can you purify it?"

"Yes, I think Teresa would like this gift," Laine took the rune fire cannons from the counter.

The room was flooded with light blue spiritual power.

When Laine put away the rune hand cannons, the Lania family's emblem on them had changed to the Grey Knight's inscribed skull impaling a sharp sword.

After viewing a few more collections, Laine's eyes lit up again: "I can purify this too!"

An entirely purple Flame Gem Staff sealed on a high pedestal, harboring terrifying magical power that could enhance Veronica's magic prowess.

"Yundi's Staff, seized from a Slaanesh Champion," Tygris remarked.

This staff was also purified by Laine, the God of Justice's Divine Chosen Champion, and he put it away, without any opposition from the Supreme Grandmaster.

Veronica's gift was ready too.

As the two continued to look around, footsteps sounded outside the room.

"Vicma is here! Let's hide quickly!"

The Archbishop looked gloomy, holding a golden command staff and the Griffin Warhammer, cursing under his breath as he entered the Holy Relic Hall's basement. First, he hung his command staff on his bedroom wall, then headed to the archive room.

Laine and Tygris hid in a corner: "The outside chaos is over; we should leave."

"How do we get out? There are guards everywhere," Tygris whispered. "Inside the Holy Relic Hall, my spells don't work."

"Don't we have a pass?" Laine responded calmly.

"A pass?"

"It's right in front of us," Laine's mischievous eyes settled on Archbishop Vicma.

Vicma was troubled today. In such a sacred place, heretics had indeed infiltrated the Justice Church Cathedral for foul deeds, making the Archbishop furious. These heretics were executed on the spot in the Cathedral, and the Combat Priests bound a Tzeentch Cultist with divine art for brutal interrogation.

The outcome was shocking: a noble family in Brunswick had fully succumbed to Chaos and planned an assassination of the Emperor. A small Tzeentch cult had already formed a congregation of over a hundred in the dock slum north of the city. Vicma immediately sent word to Emperor Carl Franz and dispatched a large contingent of Demon Hunters and Combat Priests to eliminate the Tzeentch Cult.

Chaos's infiltration pained Vicma immensely. He knew well that while the empire's troops were strong, they could only defend themselves and couldn't defeat the northern Chaos entirely. Thus, he headed to the Holy Relic Hall's basement to continue perusing forbidden books and scrolls.

Vicma deeply understood that only these books and scrolls might reveal the truth about Chaos and how to destroy evil, viewable safely only under the suppression of countless holy relics and the Divine power of the God of Justice.

Just as he flipped open a page, the Archbishop felt something wrong, a stabbing sensation on his back, his body's instinctive alert.

Vicma's hand, just turning the page, immediately grasped the warhammer on the table, the Power of the Twin-tailed Comet surged.

"Who's there?!"
