From the beginning, Grey had noticed that the purple crystal could suppress all life forms under it. It’s supressive might was so strong that nothing under it’s light could put up a fight.

Not only that, Grey noticed that the purple crystal was also very possessive. Ever since he obtained the purple crystal, it had slowly been changing his body and his internal world.

Such that his sea of consciousness was dyed slightly purple, the Soul Devouring Bird that a partial emperor level cultivation art was also influenced and turned purple.

His other arts and techniques were also influenced by the purple crystal and turned purple. They each also had the same supressive tendencies as the purple crystal. Especially his purple moon.

And if the purple crystal could influence even a emperor level cultivation art, even if it was an incomplete one, then it was clearly a supreme item.

The black speckles of light inside them represented the laws. But they were slowly diminishing and disappearing. Controlling the world laws of a world may sound difficult and impossible for Grey, but if he wanted to control only the laws guiding these stairs, then it might be possible.

Hence, Grey calmed his mind and slowly sat down cross-legged on the seventh step. He closed his eyes and immersed himself in his sea of consciousness.

His heart looked crystalline and shone with a purple light. Looking at his heart, Grey felt that it was both familiar and not familiar. Even though it looked like a crystal object, it still beat and sent blood through his body like a normal heart.

If others were to look inside his body right now, they would not see the same scene that he was seeing. They would only see a normal heart. But that meant that the purple crystal had fully fused with Grey and could no longer separate from him. It was now his.

After calming down the fluctuations in his mind, Grey soon calmed down and hesved out a silent sigh. He then circulated his cultivation base and sent spirit power flowing through his meridians and into his... heart.

The moment the spirit power came into contact with Grey’s heart that had fused with the purple crystal, a domineering supressive intent filled every inch of his body.

Grey’s shadow that was under his feet silently shuddered in fear. It could feel that the supressive might coming from Grey’s body at this time was especially terrifying.

If Grey used this supressive might to attack the shadow, it might die in a very short period of time.

Inside his body, everything that was influenced by the purple crystal suddenly shuddered. The Soul Devouring Everlasting Bird opened it’s eyes and let out a screech.

The purple moon trembled and shone even more purple moonlight onto his sea of consciousness. While the Life Demon Phantom woke up and glanced around with a cold glint in it’s eyes.

It’s body revealed shocking supressive intent.

Inside Grey’s purple moon, a small black person with black eyes and hair slowly opened his eyes. His gaze was indifferent and filled with apathy towards life.

Feeling the change brought about by the purple crystal, his eyes slowly opened as he secretly scanned Grey’s body to find the source of the supressive intent.

But even though him... a cultivator that likely surpassed the Nihility realm searched his body, he could not find anything wrong with Grey’s body. He did not notice Grey’s purple heart or the obvious purple intent coming from it.

Even when an expert of such a shocking level looked at Grey, it didn’t find the purple crystal at all.

"There is something... wrong with this boy." The small person said in an indifferent and apathetic tone. He slowly closed his eyes and entered a state of meditation.
