A very grotesque-looking monster, a combination of abominations that can only be described as both disgusting and disturbing. It looks like it emerged from the depths of an oil spill, covered in trash, random objects, and engine parts that seem to be similar to the junk denizens that I have fought earlier.

And to top it off, the giant f*cker is stinking like it came straight from the septic tank. It smells like sh*t for some reason.

"Looks like we will have to bail out on this one."

ROAAARRRRR!

As the giant monster roared using what appeared to be its mouth or whatever it was, the whole room shook and the decorations present inside were blown off. Not only that but the disgusting stink has scattered all over now.

"Yep, this isn’t something I wanted to stay and fight right now, time to flee!"

Without hesitation, I jumped out of the window. Right now, I am on around the 4th floor of the skyscraper so it wasn’t that high. I could have stayed on the lower floors but most of the rooms below are stinky or just plain dirty. Now that I think about it, this monster might be the reason the place is stinking a lot and now that it has come to that room, it is also the same as the other rooms, it stinks.

As I fall from the height, I spread out my wings and fly off into the distance to see the monster, only to see it leap off the building in an attempt to devour me.

"Wielder!"

"Calm down, I got this!" I immediately changed my Devourer into a cannon and as its stinking mouth closed in, I aimed and fired a cannonball straight into its mouth. Which then causes it to get hit by the recoil effect of the impact. It was powerful to the point that the impact also shattered the glass of the building.

"Careful, wielder. That guy is still not dead yet."

"Yeah, I can tell."

Despite getting a direct hit from the cannon, the boss still looks like it is trying to move though it is struggling to do so with the impact it received from the attack I did to it.

Although I could go ahead and kill it, there is no reason for me to do so, and besides, if it was just there roaming and just happened to attack me as it found me as an invader on its territory then it was my fault to begin with.

I flew straight to the parking lot and entered [Stealth] to grab the Trike and get the heck out of there. I am no longer tired as well since I managed to sleep before the beast disturbed it and thankfully, I managed to recover a bit of my tiredness as well so it is best to leave and continue my search for the items that I needed to find before this month ends.

As I was riding my trike and was about to turn on the engine, the monster that I shot with the cannon recovered and started to charge at me like a behemoth that had found its prey. It didn’t wander around the place, it went straight to me despite me not giving any sort of sounds, nor did I remove the effects of [Stealth].

"He can see me?!"

I didn’t hesitate and turned on the engine of the Trike and rode off the place without looking back. I circled the parking lot to make the monster confused and leave me in the process but even without any sort of eyes on its face, it seemed to be capable of detecting me and relentlessly chased me. Seeing no chance for me to shake it off my tail, I bolted away from the area with my trike.

But I think I underestimated its desire to eliminate me because even when I was no longer present in its territory, it didn’t stop and leave. it continues to chase me like there is no tomorrow.

"Wielder, it seems that leaving it loose won’t save your a*s from this guy. I think dealing it for good is the only way to finish the job."

"Ugh...damn. Fine. This guy wanted to die so much? Then I will offer it death."

Turning around, I revved the engine of the Trike and as the stinky little f*cker was about to dive, I bolted forward with the cannon in my hands and shot the f*cker straight into the face.

BOOM!

That should be two stacks of Love Stacks to it but I am not in a hurry to stack multiple of it. I am just looking for the right time to do it.

One thing that I noticed? The monster is no longer showing any sort of HP. I only realized it just now, but even the junk denizens and the living armor I defeated have no signs of HP bars in them, which is kind of weird. Perhaps that system ability is not present here in Agartha?

Anyway, the monster didn’t like the attack I gave it and started to charge again. I let the monster chase me down, changed the Devourer once again into a gun, and started firing it toward the big guy to let the Love stack accumulate and passively let it receive damage as I tried to outrun or just get this guy lost of my trail.

But talk about persistence. The guy didn’t give up and continued chasing me down even though I was not in their territory anymore.

I continued to fire the gun relentlessly to the stinky f*cker and it didn’t take long for its effects to stack up and get its natural and intended behavior.

The big f*cker starts to sway around the buildings and collapse from time to time due to the passive damage and passive debuffs that have accumulated thanks to the Love Stacks.

I didn’t stop shooting. If it remains alive, then it will remain a threat. Despite the Love Stack already stacking up and giving it a lot of debuffs, the monster didn’t give in and continues to chase me down albeit, this time around, it is not as fast as before and it is stumbling around more times than usual.

This gave me enough time to lose the big guy a few times but for some reason, this guy continued to find me and my trail. Perhaps this guy had some sort of tracking on me? Perhaps my smell? Maybe that’s it and why I am always found out even when I am under stealth.

Earlier in that room, I was close during its roaring sequence and as it did, the stink might have stuck in my body and clothes and now they are being used as the "tracking device" of this monster to me.

"Why not confront it in close combat like you used to do?" the Shadow Dragon asked.

"I am not in the mood to fight against it, to be honest, so no. I don’t care about killing it. I am just forced to deal with this guy and fight him for real."

Once again, the boss reappeared and this time, it was getting weaker. It wasn’t as agile as before and chasing me down is taking a toll on its huge body and yet, it does not stop to leave. It continues to chase me down without stopping.

In short, it is now almost on its death’s door. As much as I didn’t want to deal with the monster in close combat, I decided to just stop this guy from chasing me forever and end its suffering and kill it for real this time around. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢

"Eh? Wielder, I thought you were not going to kill it personally and let it succumb to its wounds?"

"I changed my mind. I better finish the job than let the debuffs deal with it slowly."

As the monster walks up weakly toward my direction, it seems the debuffs have finally taken their toll on its huge body. As it collapses into the ground. The guy stinks but I decided to ignore it and slowly approach it.

I don’t know if it breathes or does not, but one thing is for certain, this guy is close to death’s door.

"I apologize for intruding on your territory. However, I am just resting there and do not plan to stay for long and take it from your property. Sadly, you don’t understand me but it’s better this way."

Changing my Devourer into a magic sword. The stinky is no longer strong enough to move by itself.

"Wait, wielder, don’t tell me you are planning to strike me straight into this guy?!" the shadow dragon protested.

"Sheesh, don’t worry, I will use a skill to deliver the final blow."

The monster is still trying to move but it is no longer capable of doing so. As for me, I read the Devourer and channel my mana into its blade which slowly materializes the power of the [Aura Blade].

"Big guy, have a nice nap in the afterlife."

And as I said those final words to the monster, I released the [Aura Blade] to the monster, which kills the monster in the process.

I sighed for a bit as its body disintegrated. Thankfully, it seems the smell has disintegrated as well as I no longer smell bad and the area where the monster died is also not smelly at all.

One thing is just there sitting in the wake of the big monster.

"Wielder, I sense some kind of energy of some sort emanating from that object on the floor."

As I approached, I didn’t expect to see a very ancient bell from where the giant monster had died, emanating a warm radiance that comes from that bell itself.
