Urban Super Soldier King - Chapter 1916 - 2017: Xiang Yu’s Decisive Killing
Although the City Guard Army was trained, most of them had never killed before. They were all shocked to see Xiang Yu act so decisively and with such a calm expression.
For Xiang Yu, this was nothing—just killing, very simple.
The City Guard Army members paused for a moment, and once they saw Xiang Yu had already gone downstairs, they all chased after him.
There was someone standing guard by the door, and they hadn’t noticed Xiang Yu and his men earlier.
"You guys..."
Before the two could react, Xiang Yu’s dagger had already slit their throats.
Xiang Yu took two guns from them and then went straight inside.
Though it was spacious inside, it wasn’t bustling. There were many standing guard, and some scantily clad women walking back and forth.
It seemed this was a den of vice built by Lie Yun, used for leisure by him and his brothers.
Xiang Yu’s group walked in, and the people there didn’t react at all, thinking it was just another group of brothers.
The surrounding guards quickly ran towards them, and Xiang Yu began firing without hesitation.
Xiang Yu’s shooting was god-like; every shot took down a person.
The City Guard Army was dumbfounded, thinking Xiang Yu would come in and say something, but he started shooting without a word.
Before arriving, Xiao Xuan had explained the layout of the place to them and trained them specifically, so they didn’t panic.
Xiang Yu hadn’t shot and killed anyone for a long time, but today he was going to unleash a killing spree.
"Sir, hurry and take cover." One member of the City Guard Army saw Xiang Yu calmly standing in the middle and exclaimed nervously.
"Don’t worry about me," Xiang Yu calmly replied, then headed towards the stairs.
The second floor was crowded with people, all firing at Xiang Yu.
Xiang Yu leaped forward, simultaneously resolving the situation with a few quick shots.
The City Guard Army, inspired by Xiang Yu, stepped out from their cover.
Together, they hadn’t killed as many people as Xiang Yu alone. His response time was rapid; as soon as the enemy showed themselves, he would unhesitatingly take them down.
The City Guard Army stayed behind Xiang Yu, feeling a sense of security.
Before long, over a dozen bodies lay on the ground, eyes wide open, looking like they died with unfinished business.
Xiang Yu felt no pity for them. They chose their paths, and when they set foot on this road, they should have expected such an outcome.
Just as they reached the second floor, four people in front fired at them with submachine guns.
Xiang Yu reacted swiftly, dodging and diving to the ground, taking out the four men with four shots.
But two City Guard Army members were hit, unable to dodge in time, and lost their lives.
The other City Guard Army members, seeing their brothers killed, charged forward in a rage. 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮
Xiang Yu appeared even calmer. In war, people will die on both sides.
As Xiang Yu moved forward, someone suddenly jumped out, firing at Xiang Yu from the side.
Xiang Yu couldn’t dodge completely and was hit in the arm, but he swiftly shot the attacker in the head.
"Sir," the City Guard Army members called out, quickly running back after seeing Xiang Yu was injured.
"It’s nothing, don’t worry," Xiang Yu smiled calmly, not even glancing at his arm.
The City Guard Army nodded and continued charging forward.
Lie Yun was in a room at the end of the second floor, guarded by two trembling men with guns.
"Put down the guns, put them down," the City Guard Army shouted.
The two men trembled with fear and eventually knelt, throwing their guns on the floor.
The City Guard Army quickly ran over to control the two men.
"Is Lie Yun inside?" Xiang Yu asked calmly, looking at the two men.
The two almost fainted from fear and quickly shook their heads, indicating they didn’t know.
Xiang Yu didn’t ask further, directly snapping their necks. He didn’t want to waste too much time here; Xiao Xuan was still attacking the base.
Standing by the door, Xiang Yu looked around and said, "Everyone, step back."
The City Guard Army knew Xiang Yu was going to kick down the door. They rushed forward, saying, "Sir, let us handle this."
Kicking down the door and forcing entry is dangerous; there could very well be someone with a gun pointed at them from the other side.
"Step aside," Xiang Yu ordered sternly.
The City Guard Army couldn’t argue with Xiang Yu and stood to the side.
Xiang Yu delivered a fierce kick to the door, quickly dodging to the side.
Bullets rained outside. If Xiang Yu hadn’t dodged in time, he would have been riddled like a sieve.
As the door swung open, a black object was hurled out.
Xiang Yu quickly caught it and threw it back inside.
A loud explosion followed, sending a wave of air and thick black smoke outside.
Once the shockwave passed, Xiang Yu immediately rushed in. The inside was a mess, blown to pieces.
The rest of the City Guard Army shielded themselves, only to find Xiang Yu had vanished once the shockwave dissipated.
"Where’s the commander?" one of them asked anxiously.
They glanced towards the first floor, not seeing Xiang Yu, then rushed inside.
Coming inside, they found Xiang Yu standing there calmly, his face blackened.
"Sir," the City Guard Army cheered up upon seeing Xiang Yu unhurt.
The room was in ruins from the explosion, its occupants barely clinging to life, with three people already dead.
"Which one is Lie Yun?" Xiang Yu looked at the survivors and asked.
One heavily injured person slowly raised a gun at Xiang Yu.
Xiang Yu didn’t hesitate, shooting the person’s head, preferring to end their suffering.
"Hmph, Xiang Yu, you’re quite audacious." Someone struggled to sit up against the wall.
Xiang Yu recognized him, though Lie Yun was almost unidentifiable from the explosion.
"Take care of the others," Xiang Yu said, crouching before Lie Yun.
"Didn’t expect this day, did you?" Xiang Yu asked.
Lie Yun’s head was covered in blood as he sneered, "Do you know the consequences of crossing me?"
"I don’t know," Xiang Yu stated bluntly.
"Do you want to find out?" Lie Yun gazed coldly at Xiang Yu.
"You’re almost dead, why bother? I just want you to know, anyone who harms my brothers won’t meet a good end," Xiang Yu replied calmly.
"I don’t believe you’d dare kill me. If you do, the Forest Wolves would still..."
Before Lie Yun could finish, Xiang Yu strangled and snapped his neck with a ’crack’.
"I don’t care what you wanted to say. Goodbye." Xiang Yu stood up, he had many things left to do...
