Melissa remained calm.

She curled her lips and fought with Nolan’s people. She wielded steel tubes with both hands as if she held two sharp swords.

Whenever she hit a person with the tubes, she heard their bones break.

Melissa hit them precisely and ruthlessly. She didn’t show any mercy.

If she was soft-hearted, she would be the one lying on the ground.

After a while, all of Nolan’s people fell to the ground, clutching their arms and knees and wailing. They were crippled.

Melissa put away the tubes and wore a smile. She looked at Nolan indifferently and said, "Mr. Ripley, do you want to make a deal with me?"

Nolan was stunned. "What do you mean?"

Melissa replied, "Who is the person behind you? As long as you tell me, I will pay you more."

Nolan snorted coldly. He couldn’t help but sigh in his heart. Melissa was indeed powerful.

He had never seen a woman act so swiftly and ruthlessly.

At the thought of Anaya’s attractive appearance, Nolan refused coldly, "It’s not easy for me to acquire a reputation in the underworld. I will not betray my partner."

Melissa pursed her lips and was slightly disappointed. "Mr. Ripley, you don’t intend to cooperate with me, right?"

"Cooperate?"

Nolan took a step back and went out of the alley. He sneered and said, "Ms. Eugen, you underestimate me. These men are no match for you at all. I have a card up my sleeve.

"You are powerful. I have over three hundred people here. You can try and fight with them."

As soon as he finished speaking, dozens of people rushed into the alley. The narrow alley was crowded instantly.

Melissa sneered, "Mr. Ripley, you keep saying that you don’t want to be a despicable person. However, whatever you do is not upright."

Nolan said, "You don’t have to provoke me. Today, you have no choice but to die here!"

He seemed determined to kill Melissa. He took out a lighter and lit a cigarette. Leaning against the wall, he took a deep breath and spat out a thin smoke. He shouted to others, "You have to kill her before I finish this cigarette. If you fail, you don’t have to go back with me!"

His people clenched the steel tubes in their hands and rushed at Melissa without saying anything else.

It was a narrow alley. After these people entered, it became even more narrow. Melissa was soon surrounded.

She furrowed her brows as she watched the crowd approaching her.

Nolan was shameless. Even if she was strong, it would be difficult for her to deal with so many people.

One by one, the men in black attacked Melissa. She had no time to think about anything else and could only fight back.

There were too many enemies. Whenever Melissa knocked down one, there were more people rushing toward her.

Murray stayed in Pulchra for two days and did not find the sailor.

He was worried about Melissa and returned to Aldness.

Murray wanted to give Melissa a surprise, so he directly returned to the Gibson Corporation and went to the Secretary Department to see Melissa.

However, Melissa was not in the office.

"Where is Melissa?" Murray asked the colleague sitting next to Melissa.

"Mr. Gibson, Ms. Eugen has gotten off work. I heard that she is going to the hospital to visit Mr. Marc," the colleague quickly stood up and replied.

"I see," Murray responded in a flat voice. Then, he drove to the hospital.

He pushed open the door of the ward and did not see Melissa.

He only saw Jose standing by Marc’s bed and taking care of him.

"Jose, how is my grandpa?" Murray stepped forward and asked with concern.

Jose stood up and said respectfully, "Mr. Gibson, you’re back? Mr. Marc is fine. Ms. Eugen just came to see him. Don’t worry."

Murray sighed in relief, "That’s good."

"Grandpa, you have to get better as soon as possible," Murray said as he leaned over and held Marc’s hand.

"Mr. Gibson, don’t worry. With Ms. Eugen around, Mr. Marc will wake up soon," Jose patted Murray on the shoulder and comforted him.

"Sure!" Murray nodded.

"By the way, where is Melissa?" Murray asked again.

Jose looked at the time and replied, "Ms. Eugen went back after seeing Mr. Gibson. About an hour has passed."

"Alright, I see," Murray said solemnly.

After visiting Marc, Murray left the hospital.

According to Jose, Melissa had left the hospital for about an hour. She should have already returned to Moonlight Mansion.

Murray accelerated the car and soon arrived at Moonlight Mansion.

However, he did not see Melissa after going home.

"Clara, where is Melissa?" Murray asked Clara who was cleaning up in the kitchen.

"Mr. Gibson, you’re back?" Clara looked up.

Murray asked again, "Has Melissa returned home?"

"Ms. Eugen? No," Clara looked around and said.

Murray’s expression turned cold. Melissa had clearly told Jose that she had come home. Where was she?

What happened?

Murray called Melissa, but there came a voice, "Sorry, the phone you dialed has been turned off."

Why was her phone turned off?

Did she go to Star Entertainment?

Murray thought for a moment and then called Jaylin.

"Jaylin, have you seen Melissa?" Murray asked as soon as Jaylin answered the phone.

Jaylin, who was on the other end of the line, paused for a moment. "No."

Ever since that night, Jaylin had not seen Melissa.

Why would Murray call her to ask if he had seen Melissa?

"What’s wrong with Melissa? Isn’t she staying with you?" Jaylin asked anxiously.

"Nothing." Murray hung up the phone coldly.

He wondered, Melissa is not in the Gibson Corporation and hospital. She is not in Star Entertainment either. I didn’t see her at home. Her phone was turned off. What happened to her?

Where does Melissa go?

Murray couldn’t help feeling alert.

He had never had such a feeling before.
