Adela wondered what was so good about Melissa.

And Adela could never understand why Murray cared so much about Melissa.

Previously, Adela had made Anaya fight against Melissa, but Melissa was unharmed again.

Adela thought Anaya was useless.

It was a waste of time trying to help Anaya secretly all these times, Adela wondered.

Tonight, Adela planned to make Melissa embarrassed so that Murray would never be with Melissa anymore.

Quickly, something was going on in Adela’s mind. She turned her head to look at Julie. "Do you know what I just thought of? Ask someone to add some drugs to Melissa’s drink."

"Okay, Adela," Julie replied.

Adela suddenly thought of the last time Annie tried to drug Melissa but failed. Therefore, Adela acted coldly. "I want the drug to be colourless and odourless this time. Don’t let Melissa notice it again!"

"Alright, no problem." Julie nodded.

Adela smiled with satisfaction and figured Melissa could not escape this time.

Back to Melissa, she found the banquet hall and went straight in.

The first thing Melissa saw was the crew gathering around a few large dining tables. There were nearly hundreds of people. Everyone was drinking happily, and the noisy scene made Melissa feel very warm.

When everyone saw Melissa appear, they immediately stopped to greet her. "Hello, Ms. Eugen!"

Melissa smiled politely. "Hell Dear all!"

Kim also stood up. He said to Melissa in a loud voice, "Ms. Eugen, this way!"

Melissa walked over and there was only one seat beside Jaylin left.

Melissa sat down. "I’m sorry for being late. Something has been delayed."

Kim immediately chuckled. "Not a problem at all! It’s our honour that Ms. Eugen can attend the banquet."

Melissa smiled and sniffed.

"What’s wrong, Melissa?" Jaylin asked with concern.

"I caught a cold," Melissa replied and looked indifferent.

"Are you alright? Sorry, I didn’t know you had a cold." Jaylin felt guilty asking Melissa out.

If he had known earlier that Melissa had caught a cold, Jaylin would not have called her to attend the banquet and should have let her rest at home.

However, if Melissa was at home, Jaylin would not be able to see her.

"It’s fine. Just a cold." Melissa put down her purse, and her long curly eyelashes moved beautifully as she looked at Jaylin. Under the light, her face was even more charming with eyeshadow on.

The cold gave Melissa a pink tip of her nose and made her look even cuter.

Jaylin could not help but stare at Melissa.

Melissa’s scenes had already been filmed, so Jaylin figured that he couldn’t meet Melissa every day from then on.

After the waiter poured the juice into the glass, Melissa picked it up and took a few sips.

The waiter on the side saw that Melissa had drunk it and left with a sigh of relief.

Due to the cold, Melissa’s sense of taste was lost and she did not notice that there was something wrong with the drink at all.

After a while, Melissa suddenly felt hot all over, and her body began to go out of control.

Melissa wondered what was going on.

She was alarmed and thought she had a fever.

Melissa thought, but if I had a fever, how could my body have that strange reaction of being turned on.

Melissa narrowed her eyes and looked at the waiter who had just poured her a drink.

When the waiter realised that he was stared at by Melissa, he immediately looked nervous and tried to avoid eye contact with Melissa.

It was just as Melissa expected. She was drugged.

Melissa’s heart sank, and she felt the danger. She looked at the crew. "I’m a little sick. Please excuse me for a while."

After that, Melissa quickly got up and left.

"Ms. Eugen, are you not feeling well? Let me help you to the lounge!" The waiter immediately stepped forward and acted politely.

Melissa glanced at the waiter indifferently and nodded.

The waiter supported Melissa and went directly to the lounge on the second floor.

"You can rest here. I’ll get you some hot water." The waiter helped Melissa to sit down on the sofa and left the lounge.

As soon as the waiter closed the door, he immediately took out his mobile phone and sent a message, "She is already in the lounge, and the drug is about to take effect."

Melissa narrowed her eyes as she watched the waiter close the door to the lounge.

Melissa suddenly felt something heavy pressing down on her body. She opened her eyes slightly, and what entered her eyes was Jaylin’s passionate expression.

"Melissa, I love you so much. I really do. I want you," said Jaylin.

It was obvious that someone had drugged Jaylin as well.

They did the same thing to Jaylin, just like they did to Melissa.

Melissa narrowed her eyes and bit her tongue with all her might. The pain suddenly took hold of Melissa and brought her back to consciousness.

After pushing Jaylin to the side, Melissa shouted, "Jaylin, wake up!"

Jaylin looked at Melissa and looked lost. "Melissa, I love you.

"I know you can’t forget Murray, but I love you more than he does. Why can’t you accept me? Melissa, promise me that you will love me."

At that moment, Jaylin was very uncomfortable. He had clearly said to himself that he could not hurt Melissa, but his body was out of control.
