Chapter 276: Chapter 276 Bridal Chamber Candlelight (2)

Feeling the silky smooth touch at his fingertips, Dugu Chen’s Adam’s apple moved painfully up and down.

Having just tasted the forbidden fruit, Dugu Chen was not about to shortchange himself. With a strong arm, he hugged Feng Xuxu and turned over.

"Ah, Dugu Chen, get off me..."

The suddenly awakened Feng Xuxu, likely roused by a lack of oxygen, had been sleeping soundly until Dugu Chen startled her awake.

Her fair fist landed on his sturdy back. It didn’t elicit any response from Dugu Chen. It hadn’t been a moment of peace before he was at it again. Was he even human? What did he eat to grow so strong? It was killing her.

"Baby..."

Those eyes filled with grievance looked at the woman beneath him, a picture of unfulfilled desire.

Seeing the man who’d just broken his fast, fierce as a starving wolf, she began to plead, "My lord, I’m tired."

Dugu Chen smiled wickedly, "No matter, baby. You sleep, while I, at a disadvantage, will do it alone."

Feng Xuxu was at a loss for words, her glare shooting towards the smug-faced Dugu Chen. What did he mean by taking a little disadvantage? She really wanted to strangle him. If he could do it alone, why bother tangling with her?

Worn out from a night of tossing and turning, her body was sore and limp, yet the man on top of her seemed to have been recharged overnight. Fighting more vigorously without any sign of fatigue, he refused to let her go no matter how much she begged; it was infuriating to even think about.

Taking advantage of Dugu Chen’s moment of distraction, she suddenly flipped over, slipping away like a slippery eel, grabbing a silk sheet to cover her snow-white body as she found her footing, only to immediately suck in a breath. Dammit, it really hurt, feeling as if her body had fallen apart.

Dugu Chen blinked, the person beneath him gone. Raising his eyebrows in surprise, he looked at Feng Xuxu and crooked a finger, "Come here, baby. I’ll be very gentle, really."

Feng Xuxu’s cheeks flushed with anger, her mouth puffed out in a pout. Just a few steps into her escape, she was caught and pulled back.

She intended to catch some more sleep on the armchair, but Dugu Chen’s hand reached out, pulling her sharply. Coupled with her weak legs, she tumbled right into Dugu Chen’s arms, suddenly finding herself enveloped in a tight embrace.

Dugu Chen’s breathing tightened, his eyes narrowed, and a dangerous curve formed at the corner of his mouth.

"So it seems, baby likes this position. How could I upset you?"

With her little face blushing with shame, Feng Xuxu glared at Dugu Chen and with a sudden move, both plunged into the crimson wedding quilt.

"Thud... creak, clatter."

Even the sturdy, high-quality rosewood bed shook as if it were coming apart.

Outside the door, Tian Yi retreated several yards away but could still hear the creaking of the big bed inside the room. Frowning, he wondered why it sounded even more tantalizing than last night. He glanced up at the roof, half-expecting it to be flipped any minute now.

Inwardly, Tian Yi gave his prince a thumbs-up. Truly befitting of a prince, illustrious in battle and equally relentless in bed, a fine example to learn from. Outside, Yingsu blushed as she held the washing water, pacing back and forth repeatedly, changing the water over and over, causing Tian Yi’s handsome face to darken.

"Yingsu, can’t you take a break?" Seeing the girl constantly changing the water tirelessly, Tian Yi was exhausted just watching.

"What business is it of yours that I’m carrying water?" Yingsu shot Tian Yi a look, defiantly talking back.

"Hey, hey, don’t bite the hand that feeds you. I’m concerned you’ll tire yourself out, so I’m telling you to take a break. No appreciation for a good heart," he snorted and rolled his eyes, gazing at the birds in the tree.

"Like I need your good intentions, always sticking your nose where it doesn’t belong," she retorted.

"Hey, hey, if you want to be a busybody, be my guest, but don’t drag me into it," Tian Yi crossed his arms and leaned against a large tree, watching Yingsu, who was clearly irritated.
