Although the Forest Wanderer on watch couldn’t see the source of the attack, his intuition told him something was amiss. The bald Mage snapped his eyes open, breaking his Meditation. He had also received a warning from the array about Energy gathering nearby.

With no time to think, he hurriedly activated the Shield, pushing its Shield Value to the maximum. At this level, the Shield could withstand attacks from the Black Iron Tier for a short while, whether they were melee or magical.

But their attacker was not Fang Zhou, the Black Iron Upper Rank Mage. It was Shen Zhongyun, the Silver Upper Rank Shadow Walker.
