Chapter 976: Chapter 407: Battle of the Death Spirit Ships (Part 2)

Flames that burn and are of the soul.

Truly vicious.

The large tree in the center of the flowerbed began to sway, with crystals hanging from its branches sparkling.

One branch held a light blue crystal. Suddenly, the entire branch extended, bringing the blue crystal to the place where the Soul Fire burned.

The crystal from the branch was hurled into the Soul Fire, instantly extinguishing it with a special power.

"Buzzing~"

A sound like bees, the noise of a propeller.

The surrounding clouds spiraled with the propellers, opening in the center of the deck, from where the legion of sentry drones controlled by Simon flew out like a swarm of bees.

They split into two groups heading toward the two ghost ships.

They fired a barrage of explosive bullets, and the sounds of explosions erupted from the ghost ships.

Already tattered, the ghost ships became even more dilapidated from these blasts, yet such damage seemed negligible to the ghost ships.

"Well, it’s been years since I’ve met opponents this interesting." 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢

Finally, the shaking sound was clearly identifiable.

He was on the right of the Sound of Dawn.

The three ships chased each other like this, sailing quickly through the fog-covered sea.

The two ghost ships seemed able to vaguely discern the direction of their ship through the mist, but the Sound of Dawn’s speed was swift, comparable to those purely ghostly ships.

This caused the two ghost ships, known for speed, to lose their unique advantage in front of the Sound of Dawn.

Causing their cannonballs to have difficulty hitting the Sound of Dawn.

Instead, the Sound of Dawn’s special flower cannon, due to its unique construction, was extremely fast, and with Chadite’s precise aim.

The brilliant radiance came from above, accompanied by the roar of a dragon, as Ulu Liwus swooped down from the sky.

One luminous magic ball after another crashed down.

Each explosion could take out several skeletal sailors and shrieking evil spirits on the ship.

At this moment, it became apparent that, on the back of Ulu Liwus, were several spell-casting girls.

They lay on the back of Ulu Liwus, becoming her bombing machines, launching magic balls precisely.

Among them, some contained crystals that exploded on impact, encasing parts of the ghost ships in crystal.

With a dive, Ulysses spewed out a rainbow-hued energy, freezing everything in a straight line—both evil spirits and the ships—into crystal.

Suddenly, a fierce impact came from the side of the Sound of Dawn.

Out of nowhere, two small, breaking-through ships emerged from the fog. The ships, laden with undead, collided with the Sound of Dawn.

The skeletal structures on the ships clung like talons to the Sound of Dawn, preventing their own ships from being thrown off by the impact.

Thick vines shot out from the hull, whipping like long tendrils at these skeletal ships.

Some skeletons and undead were swept into the sea before they could climb aboard, but many managed to leap onto the ship.

"Brothers, board them!"

The sea split open, and another ghost ship emerged from the water, and as it surfaced, numerous ropes shot forth, their barbed tips hooking onto various parts of the Sound of Dawn.

With the ropes sliding, one after another, zombie undead landed on the deck.

One skeleton barely touched the deck before being pierced through the skull by a scarlet blade, scattering instantly.

Amid the fog-covered deck, something seemed to be flying rapidly.

Some small creature was flitting through the shadows.

The puppet girls worked together efficiently, cleaning up these invading undead on their very familiar Sound of Dawn.

Massive vines grew from the base of the flowerbed, enveloped with green energy, joining the purge of these monstrosities.

A blue meteor rose from the deck, smashing directly onto the deck of another ghost ship.

The immense force shattered the middle of the ghost ship, wreaking havoc within.

All undead obstructing the meteor’s path were instantly reduced to bone fragments.

With the dramatic destruction, the first ghost ship sank.

This ghost ship was broken in two down the middle, starting to sink into the sea.

"Damn! What a tough adversary. We are fearless pirates, charge, brothers!"

"Charge!"

"Forward, forward!"

Finally, the captain commanding these three ghost ships was sighted.

This captain was dressed in classic pirate attire, wearing a pirate hat adorned with a feather.

Yet his body was a complete skeleton, with metal, seemingly gold and jade clasps, on his joints.

Holding a scimitar in hand, his left leg was replaced with a golden prosthetic.

Amid the white mist, unknown when, pink clouds had mixed in.

A hand suddenly emerged from the mist behind him, knocking off his pirate hat, pinning his skull firmly.

"You damn skeleton, so it’s a brave and undaunted surprise attack, huh?"

As the words fell, with a snapping sound, the skeleton’s head was forcibly twisted off its neck.

From the pink mist, Alka emerged.

Looking at the twisted-off skull in his hand, Alka unexpectedly saw an expression of surprise on the skeleton’s face.
