Chapter 130: Call her Sienna Ruthless.

Grandpa Corven’s mental strength surged again, shattering porcelain vases in the house. "Enough! You are not the daughter of a rebel. Paris was foolish and easily swayed but he was not a villain. He confessed to me in a letter that he left before his death, that he was not aware of what the movement truly was. When he discovered it, he left. I explained this to Edris before he expelled our family but he chose cowardice over loyalty. And now, the falcon lord and his circle have something over us. I can feel their beaks on our necks."

Sienna lowered her hands and she focused on her grandfather. "Tell me this. Do those letters still exist? If someone has them and they reach the royals....we will save our necks, of course. But, we will forever be on some kind of watch list. Even Elias’s position will be at risk because the royals will always wonder if he is truly loyal to them or not."

Grandpa Corven grimaced. "I am sure Edris has them. It is why he swaggered here confidently to make demands. He did not make requests, he was giving orders."

Sienna cursed in three foreign languages and she looked at Elias. "Get them back," she commanded. 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮

He raised his brows. Was she commanding or requesting? "I am already on it," he replied anyway. "This doesn’t concern you alone, it also affects Eli and Ali. Of course I want them back so that I can destroy them."

"It is not enough." Sienna shook her head. Her eyes were burning with silent wrath. "They could have made copies...hundreds that we don’t know about. Stealing back the originals may not solve our problem completely." She rose. "I have two solutions. One, we frame the falcon lord and everyone of those elders. It is not enough that we dig up dirt on them but we must have something that can bury them."

Elias’s lips curved upwards slowly. "We are on the same page."

Sienna nodded. "It can’t be any dirt or frame job, it has to be something that will get them a death sentence if the royals ever find out. It has to implicate their families too. They need to know we mean business. Just as they can ruin our family we can also ruin theirs."

Elias nodded. "So something in the line of treason."

Sienna nodded. "Pull them into the rebel plot. Anyway, it ended three years ago. It is not as if someone can come out and prove their children were not involved. Some of them must have attended some of those rebel concerts. All we need is a single picture to spin a story."

Grandpa Corven’s hearts beat faster. He was coming to the realization that his granddaughter was more ruthless than Edris.

Sienna raised two fingers. "The second solution is to poison them one by one over a period of two to three years. This is not the kind of secret that Edris has told many about, to protect himself and the tribe. We just need to kill no more than ten people, I guess."

Grandpa Corven’s jaw fell open.

Even Elias froze, unable to respond to her immediately.

"Option three," Sienna went on as if she had not noticed their shock, "I come out with it and open the subject up for discussion on my livestream. I can bring it up under the claim that I am worried about the safety of our children in school. Spin it like a conspiracy theory...."

"Poison it is." Elias declared abruptly, cutting her off. "We are not bringing this to the public. Even if people think you are innocent and the Rocland’s are the victims, there are those who will not side with you. The stain of being the daughter of a rebel will not be wiped away. Eli’s position as the next heir will be shaken. His mother is human and his maternal grandfather was a rebel. Those are two strikes."

Sienna tapped her fingers quickly. "Okay, no sob story. Let’s go with option one. I am not sure if my conscience can fully handle option two." Her head snapped up and she looked at the two men sharply. "None of you should say a word of this to Soren."

They nodded.

And Sienna surprised them by adding, "I will tell him myself before he goes to school. If it were any other time, I would not have said a thing. But now, I am afraid that someone might approach him and try to pull him into the wrong circle. He needs to be on guard to avoid falling into a hole."

Grandpa Corven smiled. "That is a smart decision. I am glad you chose to do so because I was going to go around your back and do it anyway. All of my grandchildren know this, except Suri and Mira. But when they are old enough to understand, they will be told the story as well. It is a cautionary tell."

Sienna leaned back in the chair, eyes pinned to her grandfather. "Grandpa, I am curious. Soren and I were not involved in this matter. By coming here, you pulled us into your troubles. Why did you come to me? You had some money and you could have gone elsewhere."

The old man lowered his eyes. "Not a night goes by when I don’t feel guilty about this. At the time, all I could think about was hiding under the safety of the fox lord for a while. At least, until we figured things out. But the decision was not made entirely our of selfishness. I also wanted to protect you siblings.

We don’t know much about Paris’s activities out there. For all we knew, your mother was involved. In case she was, and she decided to end her life like Paris, I wanted you know that you had another family. You and your brother are Roclands. We would not allow you to wander on your own in the world.

Also, if Paris made enemies in his past that came after you or the royals sent someone to take you out....." He raised his eyes and looked at her. "Linera’s job is to fly you away as soon as possible and get you to safety. Jorik does the same for Soren. As for me, I remain back and fight while the rest of the family escapes."

Sienna’s heart felt easier with this knowledge.

Elias gestured to grandpa Corven. "Your turn old man. Why did you hide your strength from your tribesmen? If the falcons knew how powerful you are, they would not have expelled your family from the tribe."
