Transmigrated As The Bastard Side-Character
Chapter 60: [Cruise] 3
"Hey, bitch." The two women walked up towards Audrey.
"What are you guys doing on this floor?" she asked rudely.
"The fuck are you talking about?!" The main one kicked Audrey in the front of her knee, making Audrey fall hard.
"Ehh." A small moan escaped Audrey from the sudden pain.
"You thought you were better than us. You thought you didn’t need to be in Class-1D because we were fucking useless. So you moved on to being a prostitute, you whore!" 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮
Smack!
"Stop that, or else I’ll contact the—"
Smack!
Blood began to pour out of Audrey’s nose.
"Report it to who?" they laughed. "There’s no one around, idiot!"
Inside Cassien’s room, he was on a call with Theodore.
"Boss, when do we fucking step in?"
Cassien stared at his ceiling, the back of his head leaning against the pillow. "Not yet."
"Boss, what’s wrong with you?!"
"Don’t scream, Theo, or else they might hear you."
Theodore sighed.
Cassien began to wait.
...
Fifteen minutes later, Audrey was covered in blood and disgust.
The two ladies just kept going, the existence of her life already beginning to bleed out.
"That’s what you get for trying to escape the village and leave us all alone, you fucking dirty whore."
"Now, Theo."
Theodore came out from the garbage room and walked into the hallway.
The two women spotted him and began to run away quickly so they wouldn’t get caught.
"You can leave now, Theodore. Thanks for tracking every single movement Audrey made today. Without you, Class-1C would’ve been doomed."
"Anytime, but boss... please take it easy on her." Theodore began to leave.
Cassien stood up from his bed. "We’ll see."
...
Five minutes later, Cassien walked out of his apartment door. Right beside him were the student washrooms.
He spotted Audrey lying on the floor as if she’d had enough with life.
As if she had already died.
Cassien stepped up slowly, sounds murmuring across Audrey’s ears.
"Who’s there?" she asked.
Cassien leaned downward. "No, no, what happened here?"
Audrey began looking up. Cassien tilted her chin as high as it would go, then brushed her hair backwards.
"A woman like you should never be seen like this." Cassien took off his cloak. "Have this."
He tossed it around Audrey, whose eyes couldn’t endure any more pain.
Audrey just looked at him. Not a say, not a word, just a listener.
Cassien remained silent for a moment, sitting down beside her. "You’re pathetic."
Audrey’s head slowly turned. "What...?"
"You let them beat you this badly."
"They—"
"Outnumbered you?" Cassien interrupted. "And?"
Her jaw tightened.
Cassien looked down the hallway. "What they did shows something else than what you might initially think. Those girls spent years hating you, I could tell." His eyes narrowed. "You spent years trying to forget them."
Audrey lowered her gaze, blood continuing to drip from her nose.
For the first time all night, she didn’t feel sad. She was angry, and Cassien noticed it immediately.
"They don’t even respect you enough to fear you," Cassien commented. "They think this is over."
He smiled.
"They think they won."
And then Audrey asked the question.
"What do you want from me?"
Cassien’s grin widened. "A favor. Several, actually."
Audrey laughed bitterly. "Of course."
Cassien stood up. "The island exam begins tomorrow. And I don’t like loose ends, especially when those girls belong to Class-1D."
She looked up at him, shaking visibly.
"I want you to remember them."
"Every insult."
"Every kick."
"Every drop of blood."
"Keep all of it right here."
"Because when the island begins, you’re going to become the worst thing that ever happened to them. I’ll help you get rid of them."
"I know you want that, right?"
Audrey began to breathe normally for a moment. Cassien pulled out a napkin and wiped the blood from her nose.
"If you get rid of them, your past life will also vanish." He paused. "I won’t ask again. Do you want to kill them?"
"Yes..." A soft whisper at first.
"What was that?"
"Yes." It was firm this time.
Cassien smiled. "Then listen to me during the exam, understood?"
She wondered, ’What am I doing?’
Though something out of the ordinary crossed her mind.
’What does it matter? I’ll kill them on the island without getting caught.’
Cassien stuck his hand out. "Help our class win, and I’ll help you kill them."
She tried standing up, but couldn’t.
"I’ll help you. You’re too injured right now. Let me take you to your room."
She nodded calmly.
Getting a person at their lowest is one of the easiest seductive methods.
Which is disgusting.
When an individual is at the lowest point of their life, they’ll allow themselves to be seduced unconsciously.
And Cassien was using that to gain some leverage and chemistry for Class-1C.
And then they began walking together, and Audrey never knew who was the one who orchestrated this entire incident.
From the beginning, Cassien told Theodore to track every single one of Audrey’s movements, so by the time those women came, they would move their target to Audrey. Because those two girls wanted to kill Cassien, they never felt the slightest interest in him.
So Cassien waited, and waited, until those women brought her to an unconscious state of mind.
Because that’s the easiest method to have someone be seduced.
But this wasn’t even the end of things.
What Cassien was planning to do in the future was much more evil.
Much more disgusting and bastard-like.
Because on the exam, there wouldn’t be instructors restricting mana.
With the death game appearing, the stakes couldn’t have been higher.
And Cassien was prepared to use it if it came down to the worst.
He was prepared to use what he learned back in the caverns.
Ready... was an understatement.
...
Cassien finally came back to his room after helping Audrey so she would be healed by tomorrow, with only some cuts and bruises remaining.
He also ate some nice gourmet food while his classmates returned to their rooms.
It was already 11:00 PM, and they had arrived at 9:00 AM.
Thus, it was the end of their fun and joyful cruise.
And the beginning of something some might never forget for as long as they lived.
