Top Actress Beware: Also Reborn Is Your CEO Husband!
Chapter 910: The Most Poisonous Is a Woman’s Heart
"How to make a show perfect is the job of the screenwriter and director. Aurelia has done everything she needed to do. I don't believe that without this kiss scene, the show can't be aired?" Mason Nightshade's indifferent gaze swept over.
The screenwriter shivered, wanting to cry inside: She did have a selfish motive for the kiss scene, wanting to see Anne Hart and Lucas Taylor kiss, but... but... a kiss scene would attract more viewers.
But she wouldn't dare say this in front of Mr. Nightshade.
She believed she would die a terrible death if she did.
Her eyes pleaded for help as Caleb entered the room.
Caleb's spine stiffened, and he wanted to wipe away tears: Don't look at him; he had no idea what to do either. Who knew the boss was so protective of his wife that he wouldn't even allow a kissing scene?
"Change the script right away!" Mason's ominous voice echoed.
"R-Right now?" both the screenwriter and Caleb were taken aback.
Changing it immediately was too rushed.
"Is there a problem?" Mason's cold stare pinned them down.
Caleb and the screenwriter shivered, shaking their heads like drumbeaters, "N-No problem."
"Then let's start changing it right now."
"R-Right now?" Did he mean literally right now?
Seeing Mason's impatient look, Caleb shoved the script into the screenwriter's hands, "Change it right now! I also feel this kiss scene is inappropriate. These days, using kiss scenes just to attract viewers is ignorant of quality. I totally condemn this behavior!
From now on, in my productions, I don't want to see any vulgar kiss scenes!"
"..." The screenwriter internally retorted: Director Caleb, your flattery is... way too selfish, at least include her flattery too.
The screenwriter spent the entire afternoon revising the script.
Mason glanced at the new script in his hand, skimming through it, but actually scrutinizing every detail, as all the kiss scenes were cut, the hand-holding scenes gone too, physical contact restricted to half a step away... very good, he was quite satisfied.
Mason smirked slightly and tossed the script over, "It's fine now." 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖
The screenwriter and Caleb both breathed a sigh of relief.
The screenwriter glanced at Caleb, asking with her eyes, "Can we really film with a script like this?"
Caleb tearfully replied, "If the big investor says it's okay, then it's okay! There's no room for rebuttal."
Screenwriter: "..." Flatterer.
...
Aurelia Shaw finished changing out of her costume and came out, noticing a familiar black car driving away. She squinted for a moment until someone tapped her on the back, "What are you looking at?"
Andrew Kennedy walked over, following her gaze, squinting his eyes.
Aurelia Shaw shook her head, "It's nothing."
Andrew flashed a suave smile, "What, disappointed that we didn't get to film the kissing scene? Don't worry, we'll continue tomorrow, dear sister."
Aurelia Shaw gave him a sidelong glance, "Do you believe if you keep running your mouth, I'll beat you up?"
"Stop denying it, I know in your heart you definitely..." Andrew said, reaching his arm over, but the next moment, his wrist throbbed with sharp pain. He bent over, groaning, "It hurts, it hurts, let...let go."
Aurelia Shaw's fox-like eyes squinted, lips curling into a smile, "Remember this, or next time I'll break your hand, giving me a chance to strike and take a break."
"The most poisonous thing is a woman's heart." Andrew endured the pain, still couldn't help bantering back with her.
Aurelia Shaw released his hand.
At first, she thought Andrew was a very frivolous person, later discovering that though this man had a sharp tongue and a flirty demeanor, he loved to provoke people, perhaps he matched her taste, as he seemed fond of teasing her.
However, after causing rumors twice with him, and she being the victim each time, she was quite wary of this man.
