Chapter 93: The Tianzun Sect
Wang Qinghe and Yue flew behind the woman from Tianzun Sect. From time to time, the woman glanced back at Qinghe’s handsome face.
It was not only his appearance that caught her attention, but also his cultivation.
In short, Wang Qinghe had managed to reach the Nascent Soul realm without being killed by the demon alliance.
What allowed him to survive? Why had the demon cultivators not targeted him?
Those questions echoed endlessly in her mind, waiting for answers she knew she could never obtain by asking directly.
They continued flying swiftly through the clouds and over cities until they arrived at a massive white mountain.
Wang Qinghe narrowed his eyes as he looked at the sacred mountain of Tianzun Sect.
His qi aura eyes activated, allowing him to see how pure and clear the air in that place was. Not even a trace of corrupt energy could be found.
Tianzun had become the final foundation of the Daoist Sect faction still standing within the Song Kingdom.
The woman took out a token and opened the sect’s protective dome barrier. Only a few seconds after Wang Qinghe entered, a loud shout suddenly rang out.
"Someone entered Tianzun Sect territory without permission!"
A man arrived on his flying sword. The woman in front of Qinghe cupped her fists respectfully.
"Greetings, Elder Lin."
The man turned and looked toward Wang Qinghe. His eyes widened in shock upon realizing Qinghe was a Nascent Soul cultivator.
"A Nascent Soul Master?" Elder Lin exclaimed.
Wang Qinghe stepped through the sky itself and cupped his fists.
"Greetings, Fellow Daoist."
"This Senior saved me from demon cultivators. He requested my assistance in meeting Grand Elder Gu Qingyin," the woman explained.
Elder Lin’s stern attitude immediately softened. He flew closer to Wang Qinghe and returned the greeting respectfully.
"My apologies for the unpleasant welcome. Tianzun Sect has been on high alert recently."
"It’s fine. I understand your concerns," Wang Qinghe replied.
"About that..."
A rumbling sound from the mountain valley palace interrupted them.
The sound echoed throughout the entire sect, causing all the disciples to shift their attention toward Wang Qinghe.
"Fellow Daoist. I have been waiting for you," a man’s voice declared, echoing with qi aura.
Wang Qinghe narrowed his eyes. The qi aura released by that man was equal to a Perfect Nascent Soul cultivator.
It immediately sparked Qinghe’s curiosity.
Faced with the Sect Master’s response, Elder Lin had no choice but to personally bring Wang Qinghe to meet him.
Wang Qinghe nodded slightly and flew together with Yue while following Elder Lin.
The closer Qinghe got to Mount Tianzun, the more magnificent the sect appeared.
Its walls were covered in white jade and natural gray stone.
He looked down and saw sect disciples carrying out their daily activities as though they did not care about the state of the Song Kingdom.
The three of them did not land in the front courtyard. Instead, they went directly to the Sect Master’s Main Hall.
Wang Qinghe and Yue landed slowly. A five-meter-tall golden door opened, revealing the grand, luxurious, and spacious main hall of Tianzun Sect.
The moment the doors opened, twenty elders immediately turned their heads.
Qinghe activated his qi aura eyes and saw that fifteen elders were still at the Core Formation realm, while the rest had already reached Nascent Soul.
The highest among them was Mid Nascent Soul.
Elder Lin walked together with Wang Qinghe and Yue while the Sect Master remained seated upon his throne above the elevated platform.
Gu Qingyin was there as well, instantly widening her eyes in shock.
"Brother? You’re still alive?" Qingyin asked happily.
Wang Qinghe stopped walking and turned toward Qingyin, noticing that her cultivation had already reached Early Nascent Soul.
"Thank you for visiting Mother, Qingyin," Wang Qinghe said.
Gu Qingyin smiled brightly and nodded gently in response. Qinghe then continued walking forward until he stood completely upon the red carpet.
Wang Qinghe cupped his fists and lowered his head.
"Greetings, Sect Master Tianzun."
The man rose from the sect master’s throne and walked toward Qinghe, stopping once there was a reasonable distance between them.
"Your growth is impressive, Gu Qinghe. Gu Zhen would surely be pleased."
"My name is Wang Qinghe," Wang Qinghe corrected calmly.
"Wang?"
"I understand."
The man introduced himself as Sun Wei. He explained that he knew about Wang Qinghe because Gu Qingyin had spoken many times about Qinghe’s contributions inside the Closed Realm Dimension.
"Without the natural qi orb you gave her, I doubt Grand Elder Qingyin could have escaped that dreadful place."
"Tianzun Sect suffered many losses. However, it was a worthy price for someone’s growth," Sun Wei replied.
"You said you had been waiting for me. What did you mean by that, Sect Master Sun?" Wang Qinghe asked flatly.
"We possess the ability to resist the cultivators of the Abyss Demon Sect Alliance. I was certain that once you left the Closed Realm Dimension, you would come looking for me," Sun Wei explained.
"Because you need our strength to destroy them."
Wang Qinghe fell silent for a moment. The foundation of Tianzun Sect was deeply tied to history and unmatched strength.
He was certain the sect had survived because their ancestors had intervened to help them.
That alone was enough to give them immense confidence and power in opposing the cultivators of the Abyss Demon Sect Alliance.
"I cannot deny it. No matter what, I realize Tianzun Sect is the only force capable of handling this disaster in the Song Kingdom," Qinghe answered.
"HAHAHA!"
"I’m impressed, Wang Qinghe."
"You may join Tianzun Sect as an honored guest if you do not wish to officially become one of us."
"Adding another Nascent Soul-level cultivator is far better for us," Sun Wei replied.
Only Tianzun Sect can protect me and help me cultivate quickly. I cannot afford to be greedy.
"I will always remember Sect Master Sun Wei’s kindness," Wang Qinghe replied.
Sun Wei dismissed the elder meeting before ordering Gu Qingyin to escort Wang Qinghe to the guest residence on the mountain.
Gu Qingyin nodded obediently. She walked toward Wang Qinghe with a smile once she stood near him.
The two of them casually walked out of the sect’s main hall together.
Their relationship had become much closer recently because Gu Qingyin had begun realizing the true principles of the Gu Clan.
Her meeting with Wang Yunxi had also softened the selfishness within her heart.
"What happened to you, Brother? You disappeared for ten years."
"Something happened at the Seventh Peak. It consumed a great deal of my time in the outside world," Wang Qinghe explained.
"Did you obtain anything?"
"Only her. Yue, a light fairy."
Gu Qingyin looked toward Yue and smiled. She never expected a fairy could actually be brought out of the Closed Realm Dimension.
In her eyes, there were still countless heavenly secrets she had never known.
They arrived at the guest residence, and Qingyin pointed toward the wooden house for Wang Qinghe.
"This will be your residence. You may cultivate here using Tianzun Sect’s spiritual qi," Qingyin explained.
"Thank you, Qingyin."
"Brother?"
Wang Qinghe turned to the side. "What is it, Qingyin?"
"Thank you for helping me. And thank you for coming."
"I owe you my life, Brother Qinghe."
