The Yandere Male Lead Chases Me
Chapter 1212: Doctor, Please Show Mercy 36
After experiencing so many lifetimes, Su Yan was no longer the Su Yan she used to be.
As she finished speaking, she noticed Song Yujing’s expression was less than pleasant.
She obediently nodded.
"Okay, three days."
Let’s set the matter of the lover aside for now.
It’s more important to completely move on from this sweetheart issue first.
Song Yujing kept a straight face.
He didn’t say another word.
It seemed this matter was just brushed aside.
In the afternoon, Su Yan lay in the hospital room.
She called her lover Yin Xing.
The phone was picked up quickly after a few rings.
"Sweetheart, you finally thought of me."
A sticky voice.
Su Yan remained silent.
Not hearing anything on the other side, there was a hint of confusion,
"Sweetheart? Are you still there? Sweetheart?"
Su Yan went straight to the point.
"Let’s set a time to meet."
Yin Xing immediately agreed,
"Sure."
"How about at your favorite coffee shop?"
Su Yan corrected him,
"I’m not called sweetheart."
The voice on the other end became flustered,
"Are you mad, sweetheart? I’m sorry, sweetheart, it’s all my fault, I can’t provide a stable life for you."
Su Yan said it again,
"I’m not called sweetheart."
The voice on the other side spoke with gentle coaxing,
"Alright, alright, don’t be upset, baby. I won’t call you sweetheart anymore, but in my heart, you’ll always be my sweetheart."
Su Yan was silent again.
She glanced at the phone.
Then, she heard the other side seemed to have something more to say.
Yin Xing just started,
"Sweetheart..."
Su Yan interrupted,
"Four-thirty. Meet at the coffee shop."
Yin Xing’s voice was cheerful,
"Getting to see you makes me very happy. Are you happy, too?"
Su Yan thought for a moment,
"It’s okay."
Hoping to understand sooner and cut ties sooner.
After saying that, Yin Xing seemed to have encountered something.
The voice was as if coaxing a child,
"Baby..."
Just as he started to speak.
Su Yan,
"I’m hanging up now."
As the words fell.
A click was heard as the call ended.
Su Yan sat by the bed.
She took out two candies, unwrapped them.
Sitting there for about an hour or so.
She glanced at the time.
By this point, she should be heading to the meeting.
So she changed into a long-sleeved robe.
Put on a black mask and walked out.
The coffee shop wasn’t too far from here.
It would take about twenty minutes or so to walk there.
Occasionally, Su Yan could hear the street vendors’ calls.
As she walked, her steps suddenly halted.
She turned back to look.
There was no one behind her.
She lowered her head slightly.
Continued moving forward.
After a while, she stopped again.
Turned back to look.
There was still no one behind her.
This time, she didn’t move forward again.
Instead, she stood there and slowly said,
"Are you sure you don’t want to come out and meet me?"
As her words fell, she waited for a while.
Then she saw a little figure about as tall as her abdomen.
Golden eyes, black hair, wearing a floor-reaching white robe.
At first glance, one might think this was a mixed-race child.
It walked up to Su Yan.
Su Yan blinked her eyes.
"How did this happen?"
She saw the little figure speak with a serious tone, its voice cold but, being so young, had a childlike sound.
It sounded simply adorable.
"Ate a crab leg."
Saying that, it took out a small box from behind.
The box contained some crab claws.
He was a bit angry,
"They poured wine into it."
Saying that, he lowered his head, took one, and bit into it.
Crrransh, crrransh, the crab claw was chewed into pieces in no time and swallowed.
It seemed that the stuff suited his taste well.
A tail behind him lifted up.
Wagged twice.
