The World Is Mine For The Taking
Chapter 1344 - 204: The Rise Of The Milham Kingdom, Part 2 (1)
The entire rebuilding process didn’t even take a week. In just three days, the whole capital had already been restored like nothing had ever happened.
Buildings that had been reduced to rubble were standing tall again, their structures even more solid than before. The foundations had been reinforced so well that it felt like they could withstand twice the damage they had taken. It wasn’t just repair work. It was improvement. A full upgrade, if anything.
"You really ought to give me some favors in the future, Leon," Agneis said.
The only reason things had gone this smoothly was because I called for help, and the Dwarves actually answered. They didn’t hesitate either. The moment they arrived, they got straight to work like this was just another routine job for them.
It wasn’t only the dwarves doing the heavy lifting. The beast people were there too, handling the physical labor, moving materials, carrying loads, and basically doing everything that required raw strength. Watching them work alongside the dwarves made the whole process look almost... organized chaos.
With the integration of newer technology, the dwarves had clearly improved as well. Their craftsmanship had always been impressive, but now it had reached a level where it almost didn’t make sense. Structures went up faster than they logically should, and the precision they worked with left no room for mistakes.
At this point, there was no trace of the battle that had taken place.
Even the pavement had been redone. It was like the entire place had been reset.
"Still, you’ve been a huge help these past few days," I said, glancing at her. "And haven’t I already given you plenty of favors during your stay here? I mean, you were practically squealing from being fucked all night yesterday."
"I don’t think that counts as a favor," she shot back, letting out a small breath as if she had been waiting to argue that point. "You know, I’d actually be really happy if you could just give me a child of yours."
Her hand moved to her stomach, rubbing it slowly, almost absentmindedly, but there was intention behind it.
"I didn’t know you wanted a child," I said, genuinely a bit surprised.
"Well, I’m not exactly young anymore," she replied. "As a dwarf, we do have a long lifespan, but once we reach a certain age, things start to change. Even if we still look young, our ability to reproduce doesn’t stay as reliable as before."
Her voice softened slightly, but her words were clear.
"I want you to have sex with me and procreate until I’m filled to the brim with your seed," she continued without hesitation. "I want to feel it inside my womb as it grows. A half-dwarf that’s half me and half you sounds like a pretty good combination, don’t you think?"
Straightforward as always.
"Well, I’ll agree to having a child with you," I said after thinking it through. "But not until the fight against the Empire and the Republic is over."
There were still too many loose ends.
The situation wasn’t stable enough to even think about something like that seriously. The civil war alone was enough to stir attention, and there was no way the other factions would just sit quietly after hearing about it.
Moriarty escaping only made things more complicated.
That person, whether he... I mean, she decided to show up again or not, would definitely pass the information along. The Emperor would hear about this sooner or later.
Still, it didn’t feel like something to worry about too much.
Now that I had seen the extent of Moriarty’s abilities, I had a better understanding of what I was dealing with. It wasn’t something unknown anymore. On top of that, the automatons we had developed were more than capable of holding their ground.
If the Empire or the Republic decided to make a move against the Milham Kingdom, then we would simply respond in kind.
"I can agree with that," Agneis said, nodding lightly.
She didn’t argue. That alone was a bit surprising, considering how persistent she could be when she wanted something.
It looked like she was willing to wait.
"But once it’s done, promise me you’ll fuck me with the intention of getting me pregnant," she added, a teasing smile forming on her lips.
She leaned forward slightly, just enough to show off her bare chest. She wasn’t exactly well-endowed, but there was still a subtle curve there, a small amount of volume that made it oddly appealing in its own way.
She knew exactly what she was doing.
Honestly, hearing that made me think for a second.
Wasn’t that already what I had been doing this whole time?
I hadn’t exactly been holding back. Whenever we had sex, I always ended up cumming inside her without really thinking about the consequences. Whether she got pregnant or not hadn’t even crossed my mind in the moment.
Still, if she wanted to frame it like that, then I guess I’d just have to take it a bit more seriously.
After everything was finished, once the rebuilding was complete, the people who had been put to sleep by Sleep Magic were brought back to their homes.
One by one, they started waking up.
Completely unaware.
From their perspective, nothing had happened.

Isabelle’s POV
We were currently dealing with one of the Princess’s political enemies. One of the groups trying to oppose her claim to the throne.
From the information we gathered, they were planning a raid on the castle. The goal was simple. Stop the Princess from being officially recognized as Queen.
Things had already started shifting in her favor.
More and more people were rallying behind her, supporting her claim. Plans for her official coronation were already being prepared, set to happen after her graduation from the academy. For now, the current Queen was still holding control, keeping everything stable.
That didn’t sit well with everyone.
Word spread quickly, and it reached those who opposed both the Princess and the Queen’s authority. People like the ones we were dealing with now.
Master and the Princess had given clear orders.
Arrest them.
So that’s exactly what I was doing.
"Hey, what are you doin— Kuhhh!"
"Nnghh...! W-What the?!"
"Stop right there! Gahhh!!"
The guards’ reactions were quick, but not quick enough.
Before they could even properly respond, I had already fired. The weapon I was using was equipped with a silencer, keeping the shots quiet. There was barely any sound, just faint, suppressed bursts that blended into the air.
They didn’t even realize what hit them until it was too late.
I moved forward without slowing down and kicked the door open.
The one leading the operation turned toward me immediately. His face shifted the moment he saw me. Confusion, then fear. It all showed clearly.
"W-Wha...?! W-Who are you!?" he stammered, his voice shaking.
"I am someone who operates from the shadows," I said, my tone calm and steady. "And I’ve been tasked with arresting you."
