"Welcome Baron Sterling. I’m Damian, your loyal butler and I’ve been taking care of this estate for two whole decades." he said as he bowed low.

Adrian looked at him and then the two guards in front of the gate that had recently stood up straight, acting like they were very serious about their work.

"I’ll keep that in mind, Damian. Now, please show Aria to her room and make sure it’s right next to mine. I’ll also need a knight to accompany me to the dungeon in this barony."

The soldiers looked surprised, but the butler even more so. But he maintained his professionalism and nodded before he guided Aria inside. A few minutes later, he walked out with a bald man wearing chain armor.

"Baron Sterling... I apologise but this barony has no knights. This is Burke, a retired adventurer who’s extremely good at his job. He will keep you safe and he is also the perfect guide for that dungeon." Damian said as he introduced the retired adventurer who looked pretty bored.

Adrian glanced at the bald man and nodded, "Lead the way, Burke."

As the two of them walked, Adrian suddenly head a loud "ding" inside his head which seemed to echo too. The next moment, he saw a translucent blue screen floating right in front of him.

’Okay. At least Dungeon master has potential but to think that I got a Demonic Blessing instead of a Divine one.’ he mused as he thought about this world’s system of blessings and curses.

One was the main character of the novel he read and he still wasn’t in this planet yet.
