The Villainess Became My Alpha Husband
Chapter 31: You Are Already the Worst Person
"That’s exactly right, and you know it," Elaine said with a cruel sneer on her face, pressing her body down even harder against mine. "Omegas are simply lower class in every way—they exist only to get pregnant over and over and have babies, nothing more than warm bodies designed for producing heirs."
Lower class?! How deep rooted is the prejudice against omegas in their hearts? Why were this world was so biased? Omegas give birth to these alphas, who in turn hurt them. Is this what this world is about?
"So, is that really all I am to you then? Just a thing for you to fill up with your seed and then forget about completely once you’re done?"
"Yes, that is precisely what you are—but the real problem here is not with us Alphas at all. It is the Omegas who keep themselves down and oppressed. Do you honestly think that alphas gained all this power just through physical strength alone? No, your kind was made inherently weak on purpose from the start."
"Isn’t that your thinking? You are a person who likes to hate omegas around her."
"Not at all. The people of your gender are your biggest haters."
"You are lying!"
"I am not, Your Highness."
"My wrists h-hurt... so much right now—I can barely stand it," I said, gasping for air as tears started to well up in my eyes from the intense pressure, she was putting on them.
She looked at me with a completely blank and emotionless expression, showing no sign of letting up. "Last night you forced me to give in and submit to you like some weak and pathetic dog. And now here you are complaining and whining about your own pain?" 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚
"I did not hurt you in any real way—I did not bite you or leave any lasting marks on your body."
"You acted just like a dirty and desperate street worker begging for it." She shook her head slowly with clear disgust written all over her face. "Omegas do not really want to be free from all this. They control themselves and stay in their assigned place on purpose. You end up hurting your own kind long before we alphas even get involved."
"Why on earth do you say things like that?" The pain was making everything around me feel blurry and unfocused, but I still felt a spark of anger burning inside me. This woman was making me hate her more and more with each passing day.
"It’s very simple to understand. Omegas truly believe deep inside that they are less than everyone else, and they pass that same belief on to the next generation. They actually want their own children to live the exact same hard and trapped life that they did, keeping the cycle going forever."
"Thar’s not true! Omegas are equally essential for the society just like alphas!"
"Your Highness, don’t be blind." She pressed my wrists tighter than before as if she wanted to make a point.
"Please, c-can... you let go of me right now? I am begging you," I said, my voice breaking apart from desperation and weakness.
"Do you even know or understand why Omegas remain so weak compared to others? It is because during your heats, you turn into complete beggars desperate for knots—your legs open wide without hesitation. Your physical strength means absolutely nothing in those moments. Any Alpha can easily take control of you and breed you without much effort at all."
"Shut up right now and stop talking!" I yelled as loud as my sore throat would allow.
"Your womb exists only for the purpose of making babies over and over," she said with a mean and mocking laugh, pushing her hand flat against my flat stomach hard enough to hurt. "If any of your future children turn out to be omegas like you, they will end up exactly the same—just mindless machines designed for breeding, forever stuck in this endless and unbreakable cycle."
Anger suddenly filled me up completely, pushing away all the pain for a moment. I stared at her as hard as I could with my teeth showing in a fierce grimace. "If you dare to touch me there one more time, I swear I will break your nose without hesitation."
She pushed even harder on my stomach and gave me a smug smile. "I will not be your husband anymore after our divorce goes through, but I am still fairer and less cruel than most other alphas out there. The others will treat you much worse than this—they will hurt you badly just for their own fun and amusement."
"How could anyone possibly be worse than you? You are already the absolute worst person I have ever dealt with!"
"Everything that I just told you is completely true and correct, whether you like it or not."
"Why should I believe you?!"
"Your Highness, people of this empire expect you to give birth to the next emperor. That’s what your status will be until your death. If you give to an alpha, you will be known as his mother. And if an omega is birthed by you, no one will remember it... and you."
Suddenly and without warning, she let go of me entirely. My wrists throbbed with intense pain as feeling rushed back into them like pins and needles.
She got off me as if I was nothing important and walked toward the door like she owned the place. She stopped for a moment and looked back at me with a cold, icy expression.
"Remember exactly what I said to you before Your Highness. Only your parents truly care about you in this world. No one else will ever love an Omega like you, not even a little bit."
The door slammed shut with a loud bang, leaving me alone in the quiet room filled with nothing but pain.
But thinking about the duel tomorrow suddenly felt even more important than ever—her cruel and cutting words only made me want to fight harder and prove her wrong.
First, I would deal with Jennife in the arena, and then I would start breaking this whole world’s unfair rules one by one.
