Chapter 1958: Chapter 1958: Nathalie: We’ll Call It Super Algorithm

Nathalie Quinlan lifted her eyelids, thought for a moment, and said, "The name is Super Algorithm."

A perfectly straightforward name.

Simple and blunt.

Just an algorithm that’s cooler than the usual ones.

Zevaney Kingsley frowned upon hearing ’Super Algorithm,’ feeling like she had seen something similar somewhere before.

She couldn’t recall it for the moment.

Time waits for no one.

After a brief discussion among several tutors, they announced the score for Group 10’s assessment this time.

A+.

The score brought the entire room to a stir.

Everyone buzzed with discussions.

But despite their chatter, no one questioned the result.

Only the members of Group 1 looked disheartened as they hurriedly left the lecture hall.

Outside.

Willy Kingsley came specifically to pick up Zevaney, with the black Lincoln parked imposingly outside The First Research Institute.

Seeing the Kingsleys Family’s car, Zevaney’s face grew solemn, and she quickly got in with her head down.

After getting in, she saw Willy Kingsley inside the car, his gaze even darker.

"Miss, are we heading back to your place?" the driver asked, inquiring where Zevaney was headed. 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚

Willy Kingsley waved his hand, answering for her, "Go to my place first."

The driver acknowledged and started the car, driving to the address Willy Kingsley had specified.

The trip was mostly silent.

Zevaney seemed to be in a bad mood; ever since she got in, she hadn’t spoken a word, sitting there with her eyes slightly closed, lost in thought.

Willy Kingsley was expecting her good news but seeing her expression, he couldn’t help but feel uneasy. Unable to hold back, he asked her, "Why aren’t you talking? What’s going on, did something go wrong with the group assessment?"

Zevaney opened her eyes, her gaze icy. Her fingers resting by her side clenched tightly, her nails digging into the flesh of her palm.

Willy didn’t notice her small actions and continued speaking on his own. "Didn’t you show your results to your teacher? Even your teacher said you would secure first place this time."

Nathan Garland is the authority at The First Research Institute.

If Nathan Garland said that Zevaney’s group’s results would come first, then it was almost certain.

Willy really hadn’t expected Zevaney to falter at this stage, but watching her face turn progressively darker, he couldn’t help but worry. "Zevaney, unless something really went wrong?"

Her heart impatient from his questioning, Zevaney pressed her temples, agitatedly saying, "We didn’t get first."

"You didn’t get first?" Willy looked shocked, raising his voice as he was evidently taken aback by the outcome, eagerly asking her, "If you didn’t get first, then who did...?"

His voice trailed off, as a sense of foreboding crept over him.

Sure enough.

Zevaney replied in a feeble tone, uttering a name, "Nathalie Quinlan."

"Her group took first place and even came up with a Super Algorithm."

"It’s her again." Willy was momentarily lost, unsure what to say for a while: "How could she, someone who’s not even from Inderia, have such luck?"

The car grew gradually quieter.

The atmosphere was heavy.

Neither of them wanted to speak.

Tormented by the dreary atmosphere, Zevaney felt even worse, so she opened the car window, letting the cool breeze from outside blow in.

The cold wind brushed against her face.

The fire in her heart was somewhat extinguished by the wind, but the remaining oppression and restlessness in her heart still kept her from calming down completely.
