Nathalie Quinlan retracted her gaze, leaning her head back slightly, and said nonchalantly, "Let’s wait and see, they might have other progress."

"Mm." Agnes Baker nodded and turned her head to look at the stage.

On stage, Zevaney Kingsley was still demonstrating her group’s achievements to the tutors, earning a round of applause. Below the large lecture hall, many people were also discussing the ace that Group 1 presented in their December assessment, and everyone was waiting for the final scores.

Group assessments are graded by A, B, C, D, E, and F six different levels of scores.

Of course, this is for easy differentiation.

Each score also comes with + and - to denote subtler gradations. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂

For example, A-Level is divided into A+, A, and A-, with scores decreasing gradually to prevent two groups from both receiving an A and being unable to distinguish who did better.

On stage, Zevaney Kingsley was already making the final summary statement.

A whole row of tutors sitting below was whispering and exchanging words with each other. It was clear that the tutors were very satisfied with Group 1’s achievements, as evident from their frequent nodding during discussions.

"What score do you think Group 1 will get?" Wincent Sullivan, unusually nervous, suddenly turned and asked the three.

Agnes Baker shrugged nonchalantly, "A, I guess."

Williansen Barness, who would represent their group on stage to compete with other groups soon, unusually showed a hint of nervousness on his typically expressionless face. However, he maintained his composure, and with little expression on his handsome face, he offered a more precise score: "A-."

Wincent Sullivan was slightly stunned by his predicted score, somewhat surprised, and after a while, he said, "I guessed A+."

"They won’t get that high a score." Williansen Barness turned his eyes back to the stage, looking at the radiant Zevaney Kingsley. His thin lips pressed together and he said with bright eyes, "She did improve the auto-resonance time by three seconds, but such optimizations on existing technology typically don’t earn high scores. An A would be good for them. Zevaney also made some small mistakes during her presentation, which will deduct part of the score. I estimate they’re at A-."

After he finished speaking, for some inexplicable reason, he turned his head to bring Nathalie Quinlan into the topic, "What do you think?"

The girl with the duckbill cap likely didn’t expect Williansen Barness to direct the topic to her. She lazily tilted her head to look at the person on stage.

Zevaney Kingsley was waiting for the final results.

Her expression showed that she was determined to succeed this time.

Nathalie Quinlan withdrew her gaze and curled her lips, "A-."

As soon as she spoke, several tutors had already posted the evaluation results for Group 1.

"Group 1’s overall score: A-."

Another wave of discussion rolled through the large lecture hall, with groups in the back starting to wail.

After all, getting an A score in group assessments was difficult, usually ending with a C or D, with some even getting worse grades. For example, Group 10 was notoriously known as the "Death Group" because they consistently received F’s.

An A was an unattainable score for many.

Zevaney Kingsley felt a little disappointed inside, but she masked it well. She walked down the stage amidst the embrace of Group 1 members, glancing at the isolated corner of the tiered lecture hall from a distance.

Nathalie Quinlan sat in a chair at the very back, seemingly looking down at her phone, with her entire face hidden under the duckbill cap, and it was uncertain whether she had heard their group’s score.

She expressionlessly withdrew her gaze, focusing her attention on Group 2, which was coming up next.
