The Unveiling of Secret Queen
Chapter 1946: Williansen Barness: Did You Write These Yourself?
The time for the December group assessment is swiftly approaching.
The progress of the other nine groups seems to be going well, but only Wincent Sullivan’s 10th group has been struggling right from the beginning, practically stuck...
Less than half a month remains until the group assessment.
Nathalie Quinlan borrowed information from Wincent Sullivan the next day, and devoted an entire day at home to organizing the data and preliminary work that Wincent Sullivan and his team had previously done. She consolidated their complicated data and came up with a new direction.
The next day, she took the stack of documents she prepared overnight to the institute, found Wincent Sullivan, Agnes Baker, and Williansen Barness, and distributed the printed copies of the materials to them, suggesting that they look at them first.
Wincent Sullivan and Agnes Baker were quite alright.
The two had dinner with Nathalie Quinlan the day before, and after the Ocean Pavilion incident, they had somewhat realized that Nathalie Quinlan was not as simple as she appeared on the surface.
The two grabbed the materials and found a place to sit, starting to look over them.
It was only Williansen Barness who hadn’t attended the meeting that day.
After receiving the thick stack of information from Nathalie Quinlan, he did not immediately flip through it like Wincent Sullivan and Agnes Baker.
Instead, he took off the transparent laboratory face shield, furrowed his defined eyebrows impatiently, weighed it in his hand, leaned against the lab bench, and asked, "What is this?"
"I’ve organized the experimental data and some new directions." Nathalie Quinlan moved to the side to pour water for herself, lazily pulled out a chair to sit down, held the water in her hand, raised an eyebrow, and said to him, "All three copies are the same, take a look before you say anything."
Williansen Barness initially felt that what she said was absurd.
What new experimental direction?
She’s a rookie, never systematically engaged in experiments before; she probably doesn’t even know what an experimental direction is!
Despite Williansen Barness’s inner skepticism, he couldn’t be too harsh since Agnes Baker and Wincent Sullivan were giving the girl face; he didn’t want to be misunderstood as bullying the new member of the group.
"I got it."
"I’ll take a look."
Williansen Barness opened the document indifferently, lowering his gaze to read. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
At first, he didn’t pay much attention, thinking of breezing through it casually.
Finding the items on what Nathalie Quinlan gave him, he realized that the experimental data was arranged rationally, clearly organized, some handwritten parts were assertive.
Many of their previous things could be plainly found there, and the girl also had organized some of their early-stage data, marking possible errors in red, and contentious areas that may warrant further experimentation in blue...
Williansen Barness couldn’t help but become serious.
He no longer slouched against the lab bench, seeing some data marked above, his face fell into concentration, and he hastily located the computer to compare it against their prior experimental records, discovering indeed that there were loopholes in their experiment causing discrepancies.
Once, twice, thrice, it happened each time.
He had to overturn his inner prejudice, treating the stack of materials before him with a serious attitude.
Two hours passed by.
Williansen Barness was the first to finish reading.
He leaned back in his chair, unable to snap back to reality for a long while, still immersed in the new direction proposed by Nathalie Quinlan.
As if during the past two hours, he had undergone a profoundly enjoyable large-scale experiment following the girl’s data.
"Did you write all this yourself?" After a brief moment of distraction, Williansen Barness held the material and eagerly inquired the girl.
