Returning to an empty room, Ye Jiuliang didn’t go looking and grabbed a set of clothes to head to the bathroom.

After coming out from the bath, that person’s figure was still nowhere to be seen.

Could he still be in the study?

She raised her hand to scratch her slightly messy hair, planning to go out in her slippers to find him.

Before she could reach the door, it was pushed open from the outside.

Their eyes met.

Ye Jiuliang’s red lips curved into a light smile, "I thought you were planning to sleep in the study tonight. I was considering whether or not to bring you a blanket or something."

Closing the door behind him, Li Mochan stepped forward.

He stretched out a hand to pull her into his embrace, "No need for a blanket, just send over a person."

"So should I carry Ji Mingqian over to you?" she asked, barely holding back her laughter.

Seeing the change in his eyes, Ye Jiuliang hastily pushed him away, "Hurry up and go bathe."

"Stay with me," he insisted, not letting go of her.

"What are you thinking? I’ve already had my bath, alright." Ye Jiuliang glared at him again, "Li Mochan, you should be called Li Childish, alright? Needing someone to accompany you for a bath."

Li Mochan ducked his head, nuzzling his face into the crook of her neck, "Then I won’t bathe."

So much for his cleanliness obsession. Was that fed to the dogs?

She pulled open each drawer, finally finding them in the one on the right.

A full drawer, folded and arranged neatly.

Glancing hastily, she grabbed one at random, hanging it on the bathroom door along with the robe.

"I hung your clothes on the door, take them yourself."

After saying that, she turned and ran back to curl up in bed, picking up her tablet to continue playing her game.

Suddenly, a ringtone from a cell phone sounded.

It was Li Mochan’s cell phone.

"Mohan, your phone’s ringing." She picked up the phone, glanced at the number, not recognizing it.

"Answer it," came Li Mochan’s voice from the bathroom.

Ye Jiuliang pressed the answer button, and immediately, the robust voice of an old lady rang out.

"Li Mochan, you little scoundrel, couldn’t you make a phone call after so long? Do you think of me as invisible?"

Ye Jiuliang inexplicably felt like laughing; waiting for the old lady to finish, she then spoke up, "Grandma Jiang, it’s Xiaojiu."

Silence hung on the other end of the line for a few seconds, then the old lady’s gentle voice came through, "Oh, it’s Xiaojiu. Why didn’t you speak up earlier, Xiaojiu? It’s so late, aren’t you going to rest?"

After some thought, Ye Jiuliang pressed out two words, "Soon."

"Xiaojiu, aren’t your holidays coming up soon? You must come to M country after you’re off. I’ve been looking forward to your visit. It’s all Li Mochan’s fault, that little scoundrel.
