The Happy Farmer Wanderer
Chapter 505: Before Departure_1
In the intoxicating depths of the night, Li Qing and Tian Yue’e went for two rounds before calling it quits to rest.
Today, nearly all the most important women in his life had stayed over at his house, all sprawled out on Wu Xingxing’s big bed.
However, unfortunately, Qin Wenjun, who pretended to be asleep, had locked the door, preventing Li Qing from witnessing this beautiful scene.
Without the variable of Qin Wenjun, perhaps he could have realized the great progress of sleeping under one big quilt and squeezing into the same bed.
The next day.
The crowing of roosters had just ended when Tian Yue’e, shaking her bountiful, undulating curves, flipped herself out of bed from beside Li Qing.
Li Qing was startled awake by her movements and asked with drowsy eyes, "It’s still early, why not sleep a little longer?"
"Your sister-in-law and Secretary Qin and the others are in Xingxing’s room. If they see me leave your place later, it will raise suspicions," Tian Yue’e quickly put on her bra, enveloping her plump curves.
"What’s the big deal? Everyone already knows. It’s fine, sleep a little more!" Li Qing mumbled.
"Others might not care, but Secretary Qin doesn’t know, right? Xingxing probably doesn’t either," Tian Yue’e said, "Our affair should not get out to the village just yet; it’s better to be cautious. Don’t worry about me; you keep sleeping. I’ll go and start preparing breakfast."
Li Qing rubbed his eyes, "Alright then, I’ll get up too; I’m awake now anyway."
He too climbed out of bed somewhat reluctantly.
It wasn’t until after he had washed up that the sky was completely bright.
Ever since the business with Wenguan Leaves tanked, Li Qing hadn’t woken up this early in a long time.
The chill of an early autumn morning could already be felt.
Tian Yue’e was bustling around the stove, and Li Qing brought over a bundle of firewood to get the fire going.
A strong sense of domestic life rose with the wisps of cooking smoke, a daily routine Li Qing cherished dearly.
Watching the busy figure of Tian Yue’e around the stove, his eyes were filled with tenderness.
The door to Wu Xingxing’s room opened, and Qin Wenjun, yawning and rubbing her tousled hair, walked out.
Seeing Li Qing and Tian Yue’e already in the kitchen, she walked over in surprise, "You guys are up early!"
"I couldn’t sleep, so I came over early. Secretary Qin hasn’t washed up yet, right? I’ll find you a clean towel!" Tian Yue’e said with a smile.
Qin Wenjun’s smile carried a profound meaning as she asked, "Yue’er, you didn’t sleep here last night?"
"No room left, I went back to sleep," Tian Yue’e said.
That lie was told without as much as a blink of an eye.
But Qin Wenjun smiled, her eyes curving along with it.
She really acted the part.
"Is that so? I can’t remember how I fell asleep last night. Did you help me back?" Qin Wenjun asked.
"Oh, that...," Tian Yue’e was briefly flustered before nodding, "Yes, I helped you back. You don’t remember?"
Qin Wenjun touched her head, "I seem to have drunk too wildly last night; I don’t remember anything."
"I just remember that towards the end, the two of us were arguing about something, but we didn’t come to any conclusion."
Tian Yue’e glanced at Li Qing and pulled up a faint smirk, "I thought you were rather sober."
"Not at all, it seems I should consider it as blackout, don’t remember a thing," Qin Wenjun said, shaking her head.
"Let’s go, I’ll get you a towel." Tian Yue’e said.
Qin Wenjun’s gaze quickly flicked to Li Qing, as a faint blush crept stealthily up her cheeks, and she rapidly followed Tian Yue’e to the bathroom.
Their act just now had left Li Qing completely stunned.
Each one of their acting skills was top-notch, they lied without batting an eyelid.
Qin Wenjun had pretended to be drunk last night, and now she was acting as if she had completely blacked out.
Li Qing stroked his chin, where the stubble was somewhat obvious, an evil idea suddenly popping up in his mind.
If he deliberately exposed what happened last night, it was uncertain whether Qin Wenjun would throw herself into his arms or turn her face and deny him.
After pondering for a moment, Li Qing shook his head and discarded the thought.
If nothing unexpected happened, Qin Wenjun would probably deny everything.
She hadn’t refused last night because she had been pleasured into compliance, and if she had intended to throw herself into his arms, she wouldn’t have pretended to be drunk and run back to Wu Xingxing’s room; instead, she would have let Li Qing do as he pleased.
While Qin Wenjun was freshening up, Han Mei also got up.
She approached Li Qing like a child who had done something wrong, hesitantly asking, "You’re not angry, are you?"
"Angry? About what?" Li Qing was taken aback and asked in confusion.
Han Mei’s sudden behavior threw him for a loop, leaving him somewhat baffled.
Han Mei blinked her big eyes and took a quick glance at Li Qing, then said in a coy voice, "Just... about us drinking last night."
Li Qing felt a mix of amusement and frustration, "You guys getting together for a drink is nothing to be angry about, why would I get mad? It’s just important to control your drinking; too much can be dangerous. But, was there a special occasion last night?"
"We were celebrating Yue’er’s house completion, we were actually waiting for you, but everyone accidentally drank too much," Han Mei said with a wry smile.
Last night, Li Qing and Guan Lin had thoroughly let loose in the deserted wilderness, playing so wildly that they nearly lost track of time.
Touching his nose with a tad of embarrassment, Li Qing chuckled, "Sister-in-law, you’re overthinking it. I think it’s really good for you guys to have fun like this occasionally. There’s no rule that women can’t drink, as long as you’re happy, it’s all good."
Han Mei smiled understandingly, "I’m glad you don’t mind, I was really worried you’d be angry. You go ahead and rest, I’ll light the fire."
"No worries, sister-in-law, let me do it," Li Qing said with a gentle smile. "By the way, sister-in-law, I may go on a longer trip soon."
Han Mei’s expression flickered with a hint of reluctance, "What’s the occasion this time?"
"Cultivation," Li Qing answered, "I’ve been struggling to find the threshold, so I need to figure out a solution."
"I can’t help you with this, just arrange as you see fit. Take care of everything else, and I’ll look after the house here," Han Mei said with a trace of shy reluctance in her eyes, then softly asked, "When do you plan to leave?"
"In a couple of days," Li Qing replied after thinking it over.
Han Mei lowered her head to adjust the hair by her temples, murmuring, "Then come over to my place tonight."
"Okay!" Li Qing’s heart warmed, and he nodded affirmatively.
Indeed, it seemed he hadn’t checked in with his sister-in-law to measure the results of his training for several days now.
"I’ll wait for you at home tonight, I’m going to freshen up now," Han Mei said, her tone laden with shy intensity, as she hurried to the bathroom.
Perhaps sensing Li Qing’s gaze following her closely, her steps became slightly unnatural.
Her voluptuous, graceful legs rubbed tightly against one another, her round buttocks swaying rhythmically.
