The Divine Position broke away from the black blanket and rose into the air. In the past, just being near the Divine Position would have nearly blinded him. But he didn’t feel any pain right now after a direct clash with the Divine Position.

So, even though he had lost the divine being again, Loki’s eyes were full of excitement, and he was very happy. This was because he hadn’t felt any pain when the divine being tore the black blanket apart with his punch or when the Divine Position broke through the engulfing force.

His eyes were shining as he said to himself, ’So this is another benefit of a Cave Heaven. Not only can I now devour Cave Heavens, but I also don’t have to experience any backlash when my devouring fails. It seems this is because the Cave Heaven is more durable than the Mental World.’

The thing was that he hadn’t actually attacked the golden divine being with his Cave Heaven. He had only used Fenrir’s devouring ability, but had enhanced the power of the devouring ability with his Cave Heaven. So it shouldn’t have been surprising that when the attack failed, his Cave Heaven was perfectly fine.

But he was surprised because when he had done the same thing with his Mental World, he always experienced a painful backlash whenever the devouring attack failed.

His Mental World also couldn’t help the devouring attack target and touch Cave Heavens. So he had more than one reason to be surprised and happy.

A few seconds later, the golden crystal the size of a mountain rose into the sky, and everyone in the world could now see it. Loki took this as a sign to escape.

He had failed again, but the situation was very different from the last failure. So when he committed suicide, he did so with a smile on his lips.

Another thing that was different was that he didn’t need to commit suicide anymore to reverse time. He could have just activated the Rewind Metac to send his memories into the past. But for some reason, he chose to commit suicide this time before activating the Rewind Metac.

When he committed suicide, his Cave Heaven collapsed and scattered away from him. Without his Cave Heaven, only Fenrir and the five Divine Metacs remained. Then Fenrir devoured the Rewind Metac before activating it.

The Rewind Metac had fused with Fenrir as it was activated, so it took Fenrir into the River of Time. With Fenrir along for the ride, he could also decide when to stop, so he had regained some control over how far he would go in time.

His control was somewhat shaky as the fusion of Fenrir and the Rewind Metac was only temporary. So he didn’t stop one day in the past like he wanted to. He could only stop for 1 week in the past.

He was in the city planning the ambush when Fenrir returned with the Rewind Metac from the future. His eyes became unfocused for a while as he digested the memory. Then his eyes snapped wide open with brilliance.

He was excited because he had received good news. His excitement was also compounded by the fact that his plan had worked.

His eyes were shining as he said, ’So it worked. As long as I discard my Cave Heaven beforehand, Fenrir will be free to come.’

’This means I can now bring any changes to Fenrir in the future into the past with me when I reverse time. This is good news. It is cause for celebration.’

’And it seems my plan with the golden divine being will also work. But how do I stop him from killing himself? Or how do I kill him before he can kill himself?’

If he kills the golden divine being first, his mark will turn into a seal that will capture the Divine Metac after his death. But if the golden man destroys the Divine Metac, then he won’t be able to get it.

This created quite a dilemma for him. He thought long and hard for a solution, as it had become the greatest obstacle to his becoming a divine being.

After spending a few minutes thinking about it, he came up with a tentative solution. In fact, he came up with two solutions, but he doesn’t have much hope for their success.

As he thought about the two solutions, he said to himself, ’If he were a mortal, the Mind Freeze Metac would surely be able to freeze his mind. But his Cave Heaven isn’t a mental structure anymore. I doubt the Mind Freeze Metac can freeze his Cave Heaven and prevent him from destroying it."

"I think the Siphon Ability has a better chance of killing him before he can kill himself. Now that Fenrir can interact with Cave Heavens, I should be able to mark his Cave Heaven and extract whatever energy he uses.’

’But divine beings have infinite energy, so I doubt the Siphon Ability can kill him directly. Not unless I can extract the energy in his core directly, the way I extracted from the heart of that world.’ 𝕗𝐫𝐞𝕖𝕨𝐞𝗯𝚗𝕠𝘃𝐞𝚕.𝐜𝗼𝚖

These are his two plans. One is to prevent the golden divine being from killing himself, while the other is to kill the golden divine being before he can kill himself.

These are all plans that he couldn’t hope to succeed in if he couldn’t affect Cave Heavens now and prevent the golden divine being from escaping. But even now that he had a certain chance of success in trying them, his expectations for them are very low.

Since he didn’t have a better choice, he could only go ahead with the plan. He also made certain changes to his previous plan to ambush the golden divine being in order to maximize the success of the two solutions he came up with.

The main change he made was to stand in the air at the very center of the city instead of standing at the edge of the city.
