The Darling of Heaven Owns a Rip-off Shop
Chapter 689 - 26: Strongest Demon Exorcist
Mo Bai Ning followed Tianmiao’s gaze and instantly understood: "Tianmiao, you mean, the young lady is hiding underneath this stone house?"
Tianmiao nodded.
Tuoba Wu perked up: "There’s a basement? Then let’s find the entrance."
Lin Duoduo got down on the ground and started knocking around.
"Here!" Lin Duoduo exclaimed.
The group gathered around where Lin Duoduo was crouching. Lin Duoduo extended her hand and cut through the stone slab beneath her feet. A deep, dark hole was revealed, no stairs, and its depth was unknown.
"Duoduo, you can try cutting the space into small cubes to make stairs," Tianmiao suggested.
"Oh, right!" Lin Duoduo realized, then clasped her hands and quickly cut the space.
Tianmiao took out some light sticks, unscrewed the caps, and tossed them into the hole to illuminate it.
With the strong white light of the light sticks, everyone saw the inside clearly. It was a huge underground space, very vast, with nothing inside.
Lin Duoduo followed the space stairs she made, step by step, downward. Tuoba Wu followed behind, Mo Bai Ning let Tianmiao go after them, and he walked last.
When they reached the underground space, everyone looked towards a corner.
"There’s a demon," Tuoba Wu said, as a bow and arrow appeared in his hand.
Tianmiao threw out another light stick, illuminating the entire underground space.
Everyone clearly saw the demon in the corner.
It was a small dog, only the size of a human palm. It lay on the ground, motionless, and if it weren’t for its belly slightly rising and falling, it would look dead.
"Just a demonized little dog?" Lin Duoduo frowned.
"Who cares, kill it first. Demons appearing here are definitely not ordinary," Tuoba Wu was about to draw his bow to shoot.
Mo Bai Ning looked at the little dog, narrowed his eyes slightly, said nothing, nor did he stop Tuoba Wu’s actions.
"Stop!" Suddenly, at this moment, a delicate shout sounded.
Mo Bai Ning said coldly: "What, no more hiding? Young lady."
"You are the ones sent by my father to rescue me, aren’t you?" The haughty voice carried an air of command, "Are you? If so, quickly put down your weapons! Don’t touch him!"
"Yes," Tianmiao replied, "Tuoba Wu, put down the weapon first."
Tuoba Wu clicked his tongue, and the large bow and arrow in his hand disappeared.
"That’s better, do you have any food and water? Hurry and give it to me!" A charming figure appeared next to the little dog. It was a blonde girl in a black jumpsuit.
Tianmiao took out some bread and water for Lin Duoduo to hand to the young lady.
The young lady took it and said with disdain: "Just bread? I want meat! Never mind, I suppose you couldn’t bring meat here anyway. I’ve been taking nutrition capsules; there’s no way you brought meat."
Tianmiao again took out a canned luncheon meat and gave it to Lin Duoduo.
Lin Duoduo gave a sidelong glance at the young lady and silently tossed it to her.
"Wow, you really did bring it. Great, I’ll tell my father to reward you with a few million more when we return." The young lady delightfully caught the canned meat, happily opened it, but instead of eating it herself, she fed it to the lying little dog.
"This can is quite expensive then," Tianmiao chuckled lightly.
"You’re actually feeding a demon, are you planning to take it out as a pet?" Tuoba Wu asked with a cold grin.
"Yes, now take me and him out. Protect us as we leave, especially him," the young lady raised her head to look at Tuoba Wu, speaking in a commanding tone.
