Upon hearing that his parents had woken up, Ye Haoyang figured this was no ordinary fire and quickly woke Mu Huaen.

When the young couple reached the front yard, they heard the servants say that Lord Marquis and the Madam had already gone ahead to the Mu Residence.

"Father, she can’t die yet." Ye Haoyang had always thought those white-clad women were Mu Yubing’s subordinates, but today’s events suggested otherwise. Further details had to be obtained from Mu Yubing.

Seeing him raise his hand, fearing he might kill Mu Yubing, Ye Haoyang quickly intervened.

Mu Shaoling didn’t actually intend to kill her; he merely wanted to disable her martial arts. However, he didn’t explain.
