The thing that society never lacks is opportunists, and hearing Shao Chuyan say that, it’s not hard to guess Sun Ruru’s mother is probably a rather opportunistic woman.

"What kind of person is your cousin? I’ve seen her twice; she seems pretty innocent."

"I’m not too sure, but I hear from my mom that she’s a very obedient and sensible child."

After a pause, she added, "Just because she’s my cousin doesn’t mean you should feel burdened. Treat her like any other celebrity in the company, no special treatment."

Munni couldn’t hold back her laughter, clearly noticing that Shao Chuyan was worried about troubling herself and Xu Yisen.

"Such a trivial matter, why feel burdened?"

After Xu Yisen played pool for a while, he handed the cue to Liang Ziyuan, letting him play for a bit.

Seeing Yisen walking over, Munni said, "I ordered you a bowl of ramen; if you want something else, go ahead and order."

Xu Yisen nodded and sat down beside her, noticing she was enjoying her ramen, he asked, "Is it good?"

"Yeah, not bad. You should try it."

She said, handing Xu Yisen a pair of disposable chopsticks.

Xu Yisen accepted the chopsticks, and just as he was about to eat, he noticed a glass of red wine placed in front of Munni.

He reached out and quietly moved the wine glass away from Munni.

Munni watched his natural action and found it somewhat amusing.

"What, are you afraid I’ll sneak a drink?"

"I’m just worried you’ll get happy and forget about the no drinking rule."

Munni pouted and said helplessly, "People say you’re under the thumb of your wife, but look who’s controlling whom." 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎

The interaction between the two fell into the eyes of others, appearing very affectionate.

Unable to resist, Zhang Luxin teased, "Yisen, you’re not really making Munni stop drinking, are you?"

"I’m not the one making her stop; the doctor advised her to. I’m just following the doctor’s orders." Xu Yisen deftly deflected the blame.

"She should stop drinking anyway; each time she drinks in front of us pregnant ladies, it makes us crave."

Zhang Luxin’s complaint made Munni laugh in surprise.

After finishing the noodles, Xu Yisen got up to accompany them to play pool, but not without reminding Munni again, "No drinking, okay?"

"Got it, Mr. Naggy."

Xu Yisen chuckled lightly and returned to the billiard table.

The ladies continued chatting, and when Munni informed them she and Xu Yisen plan to marry on May 2nd at the Xu Family’s backyard, their conversation naturally shifted to Munni’s wedding.

With two pregnant women in the private room, the party ended quicker than usual.

By eleven o’clock, they were leaving.

Munni took a nap in the afternoon, so she wasn’t sleepy at all and asked Xu Yisen if he was interested in playing a round of bowling.

Xu Yisen wouldn’t refuse her request, so they didn’t leave the club but headed to the bowling alley on the second floor instead.

After changing into bowling shoes, they walked to the third bowling lane.

Xu Yisen entered Munni and his name into the machine, displaying the score chart on the screen.

Munni was up first. She picked a bowling ball and gave Xu Yisen a challenging look.

Her graceful steps led to her throwing the ball.

The bowling ball swiftly slid down the lane, ultimately knocking down eight pins.

"Well done, Mrs. Xu."
