"I originally planned to hold the wedding on May 20th, but I can’t wait to bring you home, so... let’s set the wedding for May 2nd. I’ve already had someone check it out, and it’s a good day for marrying."

Munni knew that Xu Yisen had already started preparing for the wedding, even checking the calendar for a suitable date.

"Tsk tsk, looks like Mr. Xu has already been prepared."

"I’ve been wanting to marry you for over a year."

"Congratulations on finally getting your goddess."

"Thank you, goddess, for being willing to marry this mere mortal."

Munni and Yisen teased each other for a moment, and then Yisen reported the results of the reexamination and the pre-pregnancy check-up to Munni before suddenly pinning her down before she had time to react.

It was almost evening when she woke up, and by that time Yisen was no longer in bed.

Munni reached out to turn on the bedside lamp and glanced at the digital clock on the nightstand; it was already six o’clock.

She’d only had one meal the whole day, and now her stomach was empty and a bit hungry.

Munni didn’t linger in bed, planning to take a shower and then go out with Yisen to eat.

When she walked into the room wearing a bathrobe after her shower, she saw Yisen had already changed into a white shirt and trousers, sitting elegantly in the sofa chair by the window, reading a magazine.

She chuckled playfully as she walked towards the dressing room.

Yisen closed the magazine, placed it on the side table, stood up, and followed Munni into the dressing room.

"Zhenhai called to say we should gather tonight."

Munni nodded, standing in front of the wardrobe, hesitating about which dress to wear for the evening.

Yisen also quickly scanned the myriad of dresses in her wardrobe and finally chose a black lace dress for her.

Munni glanced at the dress he held, nodded in satisfaction, and reached out to untie the bow of her bathrobe.

"This body is truly criminal."

Munni removed the bathrobe and bent over to put on her underwear.

Upon hearing Yisen’s remark, she smiled lazily and teased, "Take it easy. You’ll have to face this body for the rest of your life; eventually, it’ll bore you."

Yisen hung the dress on a nearby rack and moved behind Munni to fasten the clasp of her bra.

"I don’t think so. Beautiful things get more intriguing the more you look at them. Whether it’s Munni’s face or Munni’s body, they’ll only make me more enchanted as time goes on."

After speaking, he bent down and lightly kissed Munni’s fair shoulder.
