Chapter 156: Chapter 156: Getting Slapped

Lucia slowly approached Su Yaoyao, his gaze locked on her luscious lips, as if they were the most tempting delicacy in the world.

He lowered his head slightly and leaned in to kiss Su Yaoyao’s lips. The distance between them shrank, and the air grew thick with a palpable tension. It was as if the whole world had stopped, leaving only their breathing and the touch of their lips to come.

Lucia’s lips gently met Su Yaoyao’s. The kiss was filled with endless affection, as if he were pouring countless days and nights of longing and desire into it.

’In his mind, he had fantasized countless times about being this intimate with Yaoyao. Now, his dream was finally coming true. He was kissing her again. The soft touch, the familiar scent... he was intoxicated, completely lost in the moment.’

Su Yaoyao never expected Lucia to kiss her so suddenly. Her mind went completely blank, and she had no time to react.

Suddenly, a jolt like an electric current shot through her from below. The unexpected sensation made her whole body tremble violently, as if struck by lightning.

Instinctively, she used all her strength to shove Lucia away. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝚠𝕖𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝕖𝚕.𝚌𝗼𝗺

Lucia was utterly bewildered by her sudden action. His eyes were full of confusion as he asked, his lips trembling slightly, "Yaoyao, what’s wrong?" His gaze was hurt, innocent, and lost.

Su Yaoyao’s cheeks flushed crimson, her heart in a panicked knot. She stammered, "Lucia, I’m so sorry. I... I just remembered I have something really important to take care of. I have to go back right away."

"Yaoyao!"

As soon as the words left her mouth, she turned and bolted for the door like a frightened rabbit, completely ignoring Lucia desperately calling her name from behind.

Lucia stood frozen, watching Su Yaoyao’s hasty departure. A wave of disappointment and bitterness washed over him.

She left in such a hurry she didn’t even glance back at him once.

It felt as if an invisible hand had seized his heart and was squeezing it tightly, causing a sharp pain.

He slowly raised his hand, as if trying to grasp her fading figure, but in the end, it just fell limply to his side.

Lucia walked dejectedly to the window and watched as Su Yaoyao sprinted to her car, yanked the door open, and dove inside without a hint of reluctance.

He just stood there quietly, his eyes vacant, replaying what had just happened over and over in his mind. He was filled with hurt and confusion, unable to understand why the beautiful moment had been so fleeting, why she had left so decisively.

Once in the car, Su Yaoyao impatiently ordered it to start and return to the Imperial Palace.

Her heart was still pounding furiously. She didn’t dare linger near Lucia’s house for a second longer, terrified he would chase after her and witness her disgraceful state.

Finally, Su Yaoyao collapsed limply onto the back seat. She took a deep breath, trying to suppress the surging desire, but her voice only grew softer and more seductive as she whispered, "Noah, come out."

The moment she spoke, Noah instantly took human form, appearing between her legs.

His eyes burned with the flames of anger and jealousy. Without a word, he pressed down on her, forcefully kissing her lips as if to completely erase the taste of Lucia that lingered there.

Noah’s kiss was fierce and domineering, carrying a reckless madness.

His lips pressed tightly against Su Yaoyao’s, grinding against them forcefully. His teeth even grazed her lower lip, and the slight sting made Su Yaoyao cry out softly.

But the sound seemed to only spur Noah on. His kiss grew more feverish, his tongue forcefully prying past her teeth. It plunged deep, brazenly plundering every inch of her mouth and tangling with her tongue, as if trying to pour all his emotions into her through this kiss.

Su Yaoyao felt as if her every breath was completely controlled by Noah. Each inhale and exhale was filled with his unique scent.

Her hands instinctively pressed against Noah’s chest in an attempt to push him away, but he was like a frenzied little beast. Completely ignoring her struggles, he gripped her shoulders tightly, pinning her beneath him and leaving her almost unable to move an inch.

Overcome with extreme anger, Su Yaoyao raised her hand and—SLAP!—gave Noah a resounding slap across the face.

She had put all her strength into that slap, and it finally made Noah stop.

Noah was stunned by the slap. His pupils dilated instantly, his eyes filled with disbelief. ’He never imagined Su Yaoyao would actually hit him over that fox.’

"Enough!" Su Yaoyao’s voice trembled with anger. "I’ve always known you were a bit willful, and I’ve always spoiled you and let you get away with your little pranks. But you’ve gone too far today! How could you act so recklessly and without any restraint in front of other people!"

"Sister... you actually hit me for that fox?" Noah’s voice was thick with tears, his eyes red. Hurt and anger warred within him.

Su Yaoyao’s brows knitted together tightly. ’Did Noah completely miss the point, or did he just not listen to a single word I said?’

She suppressed her fury and said, "You’re the one who was wrong, Noah. You shouldn’t have acted so impulsively."

"You just like fluffy things, you don’t like me at all! Why can he kiss you, but I can’t?!" Noah’s face was flushed red with anger, his emotions completely spiraling out of control. He violently slammed his fist into the car window.

With a sharp CRASH, the car window instantly shattered, sending sharp fragments of glass flying everywhere.

Su Yaoyao saw Noah’s bleeding fist and her heart leaped into her throat. She cried out, "Noah!"

However, Noah ignored her. The next second, he changed back into his octopus form and jumped out of the broken window.

Seeing this, Su Yaoyao quickly scrambled over to the window, anxiously peering out.

But the car was flying at an incredible speed. In the blink of an eye, the little octopus’s figure vanished into the vast sky, leaving Su Yaoyao alone in the car, her heart filled with worry and helplessness.

Su Yaoyao stared blankly at her palm. The feeling of the slap was still vivid on her skin. She had used so much force that her own palm was red; she could only imagine how much it must have stung Noah’s face.

Her eyes filled with regret, and her heart ached as if pricked by countless tiny needles.

Thinking of the shocked, disbelieving look in Noah’s eyes after she hit him, Su Yaoyao’s own eyes began to well up. A shimmering layer of tears gathered, threatening to spill over at any moment.

But she hoped that once Noah calmed down, he would understand.

The car continued flying toward the Imperial Palace, but Su Yaoyao’s thoughts were a tangled mess.
