Teasing Her Beast Husbands Until They Fall Hard
Chapter 146: Feed Me
Su Yaoyao’s face grew even redder. "It’s not like I don’t have hands," she said, exasperated.
Noah, however, was still all smiles. "I just want to feed you, Yaoyao," he wheedled. "Come on, open wide~" As he spoke, he pushed the pastry even closer.
Su Yaoyao couldn’t refuse him, so she had no choice but to open her mouth and take a small bite of the pastry.
’Thank goodness the servants have already left,’ she thought. ’If anyone else saw this, I don’t know how I’d handle the embarrassment.’
After eating the pastry, Su Yaoyao picked up her glass of milk and took a sip.
Noah watched her, a wide smile on his face, his eyes full of adoration.
Seeing a bit of milk on the corner of Su Yaoyao’s mouth, he immediately reached out and gently wiped it away. Then, he actually put the finger in his own mouth and licked it. "So sweet, Yaoyao," he said with a look of pure satisfaction.
With a sharp SNAP, the silver fork in Augustine’s hand was crushed.
The sharp sound was jarring in the quiet dining room, instantly shattering the delicate atmosphere.
Noah acted as if he had only just noticed Augustine’s presence. He looked up at him, a flicker of provocation in his eyes.
Augustine’s face was dark as he stared daggers at Noah, the rage in his heart threatening to erupt.
Su Yaoyao jumped at the sudden noise, her gaze instinctively flying to Augustine.
The silver fork in his hand was broken in two. At the sharp break, crimson blood was slowly seeping out, trickling between his fingers to fall drop by drop onto the white tablecloth, blooming into small, dark flowers.
Su Yaoyao’s heart skipped a beat. She shot to her feet and rushed to Augustine’s side in a few quick steps.
"Your Majesty, your hand is bleeding!" Su Yaoyao’s voice was filled with anxiety and concern. She quickly pried open Augustine’s hand. The two pieces of the broken fork fell to the floor with a CLANG, the sound echoing in the silent dining room.
The gash on Augustine’s palm was clearly visible. Though not very deep, it stood out starkly against his fair skin.
Su Yaoyao’s brow furrowed in distress. She gently took his hand, holding it as if it were the most precious, fragile treasure in the world.
She leaned over slightly and blew gently on the cut. Her warm breath was like a spring breeze, caressing the wound. "Does it hurt?" she asked softly.
The jealous gloom in Augustine’s eyes melted away at her gentle touch. He narrowed his eyes, a look of pure bliss and dependence filling them. He deliberately put on a pitiful act. "It hurts, Yaoyao. It hurts so much." His voice held a whiny, aggrieved tone, as if he were truly in immense pain.
Hearing this, her heart ached for him even more. She leaned in closer, blowing on the wound again while murmuring, "Let me blow on it, make the pain go away." She was just like a mother comforting an injured child.
The corners of Augustine’s lips curved up slightly. He was secretly delighted, discovering that he quite enjoyed being coddled by Su Yaoyao like a child.
In that moment, a thought suddenly flashed through his mind: ’That’s right. Who needs dignity when you’re trying to win over your wife?’
So, he decided to strike while the iron was hot. "Yaoyao," he said, "since my hand is injured, why don’t you feed me?" He looked up, his deep eyes full of pleading and expectation as he gazed at her.
Noah, who was watching from the side, couldn’t help but interject. "Yaoyao, don’t listen to him. A Beastman’s healing ability is very strong. A little cut like this is nothing." His tone was dismissive. He was certain Augustine was just acting pitiful to gain Su Yaoyao’s sympathy.
Augustine ignored Noah, his pleading gaze still fixed on Su Yaoyao. With his other hand, he discreetly tugged on the hem of her clothes, shaking it gently. He looked just like she did when she was trying to sweet-talk him, his actions full of a coquettish charm.
Su Yaoyao’s cheeks instantly turned crimson at his behavior.
She couldn’t handle such a handsome man acting so cute. Flustered, she hesitated for a moment before relenting. "Fine, fine. I’ll feed you."
Hearing this, Augustine’s lips immediately curled into a triumphant smile. "I knew Yaoyao loved me," he said. His voice was laced with pleasure and satisfaction, as if he had just received the most precious gift in the world.
Noah, standing to the side, let out an angry huff. He bit his lower lip, his heart filled with resentment.
But he didn’t dare argue too much with Augustine, afraid he would upset Su Yaoyao. If that happened, she would be angry with him again.
He could only sit sullenly to the side, jealousy surging through him like a tidal wave.
Resigned, Su Yaoyao picked up a utensil, speared a piece of tender fried egg, and held it to Augustine’s lips.
Augustine opened his mouth just enough to take the bite, making exaggerated sounds of satisfaction as he chewed. All the while, he shot a provocative glance at Noah.
Noah was so angry he clenched his fists, his face turning pale.
But he still suppressed his anger, watching helplessly as Su Yaoyao fed Augustine a piece of fruit.
After finishing the fruit, Augustine licked his lips as if wanting more. "Yaoyao, this fruit is so sweet," he said, "but not as sweet as you." As he spoke, he reached out and gently pinched her cheek.
Su Yaoyao’s face grew even redder. "Your Majesty, stop teasing me," she chided.
She turned to look at Noah. His head was bowed, hiding his expression, but his shoulders were trembling slightly, as if he were trying his best to suppress his emotions. Su Yaoyao’s heart softened. She felt she couldn’t just ignore Noah’s feelings, especially since he genuinely cared for her.
So, Su Yaoyao picked up a piece of pastry and offered it to Noah. "Noah, you’ve been so busy feeding me, you haven’t eaten anything yourself. Here, you have some."
Noah looked up, a flash of surprise in his eyes. He glanced from Su Yaoyao to Augustine, who was now scowling with displeasure.
A slight smile touched Noah’s lips. He deliberately said in an intimate tone, "Thank you, Yaoyao. Pastry from you must be extra delicious." He then ate the pastry in one bite and added with deliberate exaggeration, "Wow, it really is delicious! Everything tastes different when it comes from you, Yaoyao."
At this, the jealousy in Augustine’s heart surged once more.
He grabbed Su Yaoyao’s hand, his grip so strong it felt as if he wanted to pull her into his embrace. "Yaoyao, I’m not full yet. Feed me more."
His eyes were pleading, completely devoid of his usual imperial dignity. He looked exactly like a child whose favorite toy had just been stolen.
Su Yaoyao didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. She felt like an adult caught between two children fighting for her affection, unsure what to do. ’What am I going to do?’ she wondered. ’How am I supposed to pacify these two little tyrants?’
