System's POV
Chapter 1507: Echo In Eternity [END]
Explosions boomed all around the Outer God’s body, making it scream in pain.
Deus Ex Machina, as well as the Goddess of Fate, looked in disbelief as the Outer God as big as a planet was being besieged from all sides by William, Eiko, and Optimus.
They watched as the baby slime riding on the black coffin flew close to the Outer God’s eye.
"F*cker!" Eiko said. She then threw a blast bomb on the Outer God’s eye before flying away.
A second later, the bomb exploded. A massive blood fountain erupted from the Outer God’s eye.
Optimus and William also both unleashed a powerful spell, targeting the Outer God’s remaining eye, making it scream one more time.
The giant Ouroborous, its size a third of the Outer God’s size, circled around it once before slamming its tail on the Outer God’s face, making it stagger backward.
"Did he just..." Deus Ex Machina’s eyes widened in shock. "Just how is this happening?"
"It’s the power of Faith," the Goddess of Fate replied. "I now understand. They, along with Thirteen, have broken away from my influence. Because of this, they are able to wield power that transcends the laws of this universe.
"You can even call them the Rule Breakers. Those who defied their Fate wield the power to mold their own destiny, allowing them to create miracles like this."
"Exactly," Thirteen replied. "As expected of my wife."
The Goddess blushed and gave her lover the "this is not the time for this" glare.
But there was one truth that couldn’t be denied.
When Thirteen laid eyes on the Outer God, it didn’t cross mind that the other party was an invincible being. Instead, he thought they could defeat it just fine.
Only those who managed to break free from the shackles of Fate were capable of facing such a threat, making them the natural nemesis of the Outer Gods and their minions.
Seeing the Outer God get gangbanged by those who wielded power that surpassed the limits of the world they belonged to, the System God and the Goddess of Fate had to agree that they had truly underestimated the power of mortals.
"C-Can we really win?" Deus Ex Machina asked.
"Of course," Thirteen replied. "That’s what I’ve been telling you from the start."
The Outer God tried to fight back, using its countless tentacles the size of an entire country’s landmass to swat the pesky flies around it.
But its enemies were simply too fast for it to hit.
"Time to end this," Thirteen said as he looked up at the Celestial Realm. "How long are you planning to watch? Come here, Truck-kun!"
As if answering Thirteen’s call, a loud horn echoed across the battlefield. A portal then appeared a few meters away from the young man.
A moment later, a giant ten-wheeler truck emerged from it.
"You called?"" Truck-kun asked.
"Yes," Thirteen replied before jumping on top of the truck. "Let’s go send this Outer God back to its world."
"Sounds like a plan," Truck-kun sounded amused as its engine’s performance rose to the max.
It then charged at the planet-sized Outer God without hesitation.
Compared to its size, Truck-kun was puny in comparison.
But Truck-kun wasn’t an ordinary New Generation God.
It had the power to send anything it hit to any world, universe, or dimension.
It was the God who sent countless people to isekai worlds without their permission!
Truck-kun’s horn warned the fighters in front of it to make way, for it was charging at full speed.
William, Optimus, Lux, Eiko, and Ethan understood what the truck was planning to do. That said, they flew alongside it, swatting away the tentacles trying to stop its advance.
"I sure hope you bought life insurance, you bastard!" Truck-kun roared as it braced for impact. "I’m sending you back to your universe!"
A crisp and loud, thunderclap-like sound reached everyone’s ears.
After that, the imposing Outer God was knocked back to its own universe, unable to resist the power that surpassed its own divinity.
When Truck-kun also crossed over to the other side, it saw dozens of other Outer Gods waiting for their turn to cross to their world.
Some of them were even bigger than the one it knocked off earlier. 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎
Truck-kun paused for a bit before its engine once again roared to life.
The Heroes, Villains, Cannon Fodders, and Extras from their own universe also crossed over, bringing the battle to their enemy’s home court.
But they weren’t alone.
This time, the Gods of the Temple of the Ten Thousand Gods joined the battle.
"I hope we’re not late to the party," the Jade Emperor said with a smile.
"Better late than never," the God of Trades, Gavin, smiled. "Are you sure you’re supposed to be here, David?"
The God of Shepherds chuckled. "This is the most fun thing that has happened since the tower of Babylon was built. There’s no way I’m missing this fight."
"If I knew this was going to happen today, I wouldn’t have gone all out," the Harem God, Issei, massaged his hips. "It’s hard to be popular."
The single and virgin Gods of the temple all clicked their tongues in unison. That darn Harem God was really annoying!
Now, they were more fired up to beat the crap of these Outer Gods, who tried to enter their home without permission!
"This is good!" The Loli Goddess Lily gripped her candy cane with a mischievous smile on her face. "The saviors—I mean, we always show up in the end!"
"You got that right!" Cupid nodded. "Should I call Dim Dim? He should be here as well."
"Dim Dim is still a baby. Don’t endanger our little bun!"
"Okay!"
The System God and Stella then landed on Truck-kun’s back, joining the Guardians of their world in this battle.
"Papa, please finish this battle right away," Stella said. "I want to get married soon."
A pin-drop silence fell upon the gathered Gods and warriors. It lasted for a few seconds before they burst out laughing.
William chuckled not from happiness but anger. He then locked his gaze on the Outer Gods, who then instantly shuddered.
The God Slayer even thought that there might not be enough Outer Gods for him to kill just to vent the frustration he felt at the moment.
Lux and Ethan both smiled, while Eiko smirked.
James laughed and pointed his spear at the Outer Gods.
"My great granddaughter wants to get married!" James shouted. "All of you punks better not stand in her way!"
Thirteen smiled and held Stella’s waist, pulling him closer to her.
They were now at the starting line of their "Happily-Ever-After."
He wouldn’t allow anyone, not even the Outer Gods, to get in the way of his happiness.
Even if the entire multiverse were to pull him under...
He would make his stand and wouldn’t surrender.
A battle that all started with the System of Cannon Fodder, Thirteen, who only wanted to change the world for the better.
With a loud whistle, Truck-kun charged forward, leading everyone to battle.
The clash that followed would shake countless worlds, rewriting the fate of Gods and mortals alike.
But amidst the chaos, destruction, and overwhelming odds, one truth stood firm, unshaken and absolute.
They were no longer bound by destiny.
They were the ones who had broken it.
And because of that, no matter how many Outer Gods stood in their way...
No matter how vast, how ancient, or how terrifying their enemies were...
This battle had already been decided from the very beginning.
Because in a war where fate itself had been shattered...
Only those who defied it could stand at the end.
And their stories would echo in Eternity.
