Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s
Chapter 2441 - 2434: That... Kind of Problem?
"I don’t know." Yan Huan shook her head, "Tears just flowed out uncontrollably."
"It’s a bit early to cry now. On the day your illness is cured, even if you cry out loud, I won’t laugh at you." Ji Chuan smiled with warmth in his eyes.
"Uh uh uh!" Jason glanced up at Ji Chuan, "God! Please tell me that the Ji Chuan I see now isn’t real. This man is famous for rejecting women. How come he seems like a completely different person now?"
"Ja—son!" Ji Chuan elongated his tone, "Please, be serious! Ignore my presence at this moment!"
"OK~! OK!"
Half an hour later, Jason looked up from the pile of medical records: "Finished reading."
"How is it?" Ji Chuan asked urgently.
"It’s obvious. Her body is very healthy, and there’s no problem with her lungs! Plus, she definitely doesn’t have the asthma she claims!" Jason confidently refuted Ji Chuan’s previous diagnosis.
"Are you sure?"
"Of course." Jason said confidently, "I am an authority in this field!"
"If she has no issues, why does she keep having episodes? I’ve seen them happen myself." Ji Chuan was clearly skeptical of Jason’s conclusion.
"Ji Chuan, if she had asthma, she couldn’t possibly do a lot of distance activities. I saw her chasing a thief this afternoon, and she was faster than the wind! She didn’t even break a sweat." Jason looked at Ji Chuan and asked, "Dear, haven’t you ever doubted her illness?"
"Of course! I’ve definitely doubted, otherwise I wouldn’t have asked you to come." Ji Chuan pondered for a few seconds, "You mean she has... that kind of problem?"
"Based on my judgment, yes." Jason nodded.
"Then... I might need your help for the treatment." Ji Chuan took a deep breath, "Currently, this area isn’t very developed domestically. Since you’ve been working in this field for many years, I think you should be able to solve her problem."
"Well..." Jason didn’t immediately agree. He looked at Yan Huan and said, "You’ve been dealing with this issue for quite some time, haven’t you?"
"Yes. Probably about twenty years?" Yan Huan thought, the time passed so long ago, her memory had become hazy.
"With it being such a long time, it might require some time." Jason was somewhat hesitant, "Ji Chuan, you must understand, I’m utilizing my annual leave to be here. I can’t stay longer than a month."
"Then please stay." Ji Chuan pleaded, "This illness has troubled Yan Huan for too long, she’s suffering. You’re such a compassionate person, surely you can’t bear to see this lovely lady endure the ravages of illness year after year?"
"Indeed." Jason thought for a moment and finally agreed, "I’ll agree to treat her!"
"That’s great!" Ji Chuan reached out and firmly grasped Jason’s hand, "It’s a deal!"
Yan Huan sat beside them, attentively listening to their conversation, her heart tense to the extreme.
She had heard that her body was healthy, breathed a sigh of relief, but then heard them say she had that kind of illness.
That kind... what kind?
Why did Ji Chuan’s expression look somewhat serious? Since it’s an illness, why not just tell her the name of the illness?
"Ji Chuan, Jason, what kind of mysterious disease do I have?" Yan Huan asked perplexed.
